@Bovie2K That's strange. I'm running a bridge mode SSID on my MR33 and having no problems with the exact same versions of IOS. Is the behaviour being experienced from multiple MR33's or just one?

Welcome @cisco_Meraki, There is no pre-req for the CMNA. My advise would be to enroll in a CMNA session and you'll be able to see the simplicity of the Meraki solution! The only fundamental pre-req's would be that you have an understanding of Core Networking technologies more or less a CCNA knowledge equivalent to the Cisco propper world 🙂

Yeah both are waterproof and are designed to be fitted with the Outdoor APs. This is reflected with Meraki only offering a 1 year warranty for these products.

From my knowledge there isn't any hard limit of the throughput of the Z3 unless you set one. Therefore the Z3 is able to operate as close as line speed as possible (1Gbs).

I've just enrolled two Mac OSX devices into my SM network. I've enrolled via the standard web page enrolment as well as downloading the agent/package and installing on the devices. Devices are checking in to dashboard and are online and showing up to date. I'm however unable to remote desktop/use any of the advanced features which should be enabled with the agent/package install. How do i enable these features? I've tried to download the agent several times however still having no luck.

I've just tested this with my MR33 and apple devices and none are having any issues. What version of IOS/Mac OSX are your devices on?

I don't see why the Splash page for the MX would be any different from the AP's. I'd assume they'd still be using the same API.

Again as per @PhilipDAth's reply. I don't think this feature is available currently. Make a wish (assume you already have). Reach out to your Meraki Sales rep to get some inside scoop on the MX roadmap for this feature/capability.

Hello @CarlosCoque, What error message are you getting on your Windows 10 client? I assume it's giving you a Windows 809 error message? The packet captures would allow us to look at the ARP/DHCP traffic to try and isolate where the issue is lying and troubleshoot. If the issue is sporadic it could be hard to troubleshoot without a live example of the problem happening. Have you ensured that the wired link between the AP and switch is in Trunk (802.1q) mode and is set to allow all the required VLAN's across? What's the native VLAN's being used on each port, do these match?

Just a few questions around MX/SD-WAN features/roadmap incase anyone on the community has this knowledge. - vMX appliances for Azure/AWS, will these ever be able to be placed into NAT mode effectively acting as a gateway for a VPC/VNET to an IGW. - Will there be any updates to the Layer 7 pre-defined rules within dashboard/Is there any roadmap to introduce a feature where customers can proactively request for applications to be added to the pre-defined list? (Same idea could be followed for Layer 7 firewall application rules.) On another note, with Cisco purchasing Viptela would there be any of the IP from Viptela being introduced into the MX range to improve the SD-WAN functionality? - If an MX was to be up against a Viptela/competitor solution solely based on the SD-WAN functionality the MX's ability does somewhat fall behind.

I don't think there is anyway around this unfortunately. If Meraki support have told you already that their isn't an NFO (Network Feature Override) that they can apply to help overcome this I'd say that this feature is not yet available/supported. My recommendation would be to follow up the feature request with your SE/Sales rep they'll be able to work with you on this specific feature request as well as getting directly in touch with the Product managers themselves.

Are you using any VLAN's in the design or is this a full flat network? Have you attempted taking any packet captures from the MR32 on the wired and wireless interfaces?

Surely you could just setup SMTP alerting to go to a email address which is integrated with your NOC ticketing system. The SMTP alerts from Meraki come with a hyperlink embedded to the devices dashboard URL.

There currently isn't an up-time clock per-say within the dashboard. If you can't work this out for yourself as per the connectivity monitoring as per the earlier comments, open a support case. Merkai support will be able to provide you information like when the device last rebooted/lost power and the reason behind why. I'd also recommend using the make a wish feature within dashboard to submit a feature request if you believe that this feature should be available via the dashboard. My assumptions is that this is asked for a lot so I can imagine it'll only be time before it's included.

There doesn't yet appear to be a call via the API to statically set a management IP address. (Log into dashboard Help>API Docs). My recommendation if you're still wanting to statically configure Management IP's would A) Via dasboard/GUI. B) Via creating DHCP reservations on the DHCP server.

In theory, it will continue to run as per normal when your license expires. (You get a 30 day grace period to be out of license compliance.) You'll need to update/apply a license within this grace period otherwise at the end of the 30 days you'll organisation will be disabled and the appliance will stop "Working".

I'd recommend also opening a support case to get to the bottom of this issue; It could be related to a known bug. Hello @barryf2031, this is a valid point you've made. I can't say i've came across this issue however have only wired up Cat 5 e cables with MV71 deployments. @GeorgeB is the MV product manager so I'm sure he'll have some input to your points,
