Iperf3.1.3 in terminal direct to provider’s servers. (Breezeline, old miami Atlantic broadband). I’m still fiddling so we see what I find out. It’s probably something simple, but no log changes have been made to the threat center setting since end of 2021. It’s also happening at another Propery in network on the organization that also has an MX-85. I have some unopened spare MX-85’s that I’ll probably swap in with it’s default configuration out of the box. And we see what happens. Then I’ll do a line by line compare of configuration if indeed the out of box one is back running 950+

It’s 17.10.2. Testing directly into one of the MX ports. So not switch issue. Very curious. But I will try disabling the threat component. I am moving a lot of security video traffic (100mbps constant) thru the meraki spoke/hub VPN to some other networks in the organization, maybe it examines that package type more slowly, but why if it’s hub/spoke traffic?

Thruput Seems to be recently forced capped at 350/350mbps speeds at a too consistent ceiling not to be some kind of limiting action, previously was 920/920 minimum. is connected to Fixed Ip fiber connection. Cisco 3400E head unit. Tested direct in to that 3400E is 980/980 min. This a result of a recent firmware upgrade I suspect. And some non user end changes to intrusion detection. Log checked no changes on MX. I see other similar posts but with different hardware.

Currently we have 2mx devices, 4 star links. One vlan (15) is ruled to a specific port out to the second mx running 2 starlinks. Works just fine. when it snows or rains heavily all starlinks go down. We have a cellular array that must be manually plugged in when this happens. Using a rule is is possible to send ALL vlan/traffic out a specific port. when the ping time exceeds 200 (dead startling) I have an old MX64 that can be used to handle that traffic to the cellular array. the rule could be implemented on both MX95’s then one port on each MX95 would run into the mx64. Which would carry all the traffic out. thanks.

Agreed. We currently are using the dual MX setup. It’s not ideal. Certainly the MXx5 line has the processing power and already have 4 dedicated WAN ports. (2 get greyed out). Is there any update on when and if Meraki will update firmware to activate more than 2 at one time? Pipedream? Or at the least allow a failover when one of the 2 actives goes down.

No it’s all Meraki and I am still connected to the AP. lol. Can’t refresh it. But can refresh before my 1-2 minutes is up. Then I have to quit and rejoin the network. Then works for 1-2 minutes. I’ll have to look at the logs or something to glean more info hopefully it logs attempts to do this action on the access point

That indeed is great idea but there has been trouble with that on the network already (I have it off) and I have asked everyone to turn the privacy setting off for our SSID’s. FYI - The randomization has made some people unable to log back on even manually unless Wi-Fi paused and started again when moving between AP’s and they get dropped.

Same result and action with iOS chrome. Not critical but still curious and annoyingly. Guess I will just carry the laptop Around for now. Hopefully someone will search for similar issue and have found a resolution. I’ll find an Android a check that.

Yes. 26.8.1. However the ap page is stable on a computer : windows 10, using chrome as a browser. also as a note the Meraki speed test link within safari on iOS does not give a result. Just spins. (works on the pc just gives and antiquated 75+) iOS is the latest 14.

To check access point connection stats I use ap.meraki.com. Works fine for 2 minutes then dumps me out of the page only connection remains with "likely not connected to Meraki Access point" Sometimes the stats appear as unformatted simple text then dumps me off the page. Both 2.4 and 5 RF. on all 35 AP's are MR32's and MR72's. Latest firmware for APs, and Switches. Occurs on iPhone 12 latest iOS. if I drop wifi and reconnect, and go to the address again it works again for 2 minutes then dumps me. Not a major issue but annoying when checking RF strength.
