AHRC Nassau is a non-profit that empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live self-directed lives. The purpose of this project was to be able to monitor and get insight into all our corporate offices, houses and day-habs. We currently have 136 Meraki networks supporting about 3,000 employees and over 3,000 individuals. We are using MS250-48FP switches, MR45's & MR52's in our corporate offices, schools and clinics. MX65W, MX68W and MR33's in our houses and hub-sites. Meraki has been a god send because we are able to be proactive instead of reactive with our support. We have setup alerts on our system to let us know when issues are occurring. We are able to monitor usage to ensure we are meeting the needs of our users. We are hoping to continue to build out our Meraki network so that all networking equipment is Meraki. ... View more

I did that but it is only showing me the devices I blocked with in the last 30 days. I need to see devices that were blocked 3-5 months ago. I don't see an option for that. 30 days seems to be the furthest back I can go. ... View more

Is there a way to see all blocked devices on a network even if they were blocked over 30 days ago? I am trying to unblock a few devices that were blocked a few months ago.   Thanks,   Joe M ... View more

Oh the good ole days. Back in the 90's I was working for a capital equipment manufacturer in the semiconductor business. We were networking SUN386i computers using 10Base5(thick net). One morning I receive a frantic call from a customer in Colorado, a very big Semiconductor company. They were going crazy, the system is no longer connected to the network and they had to halt IC chip inspection. I told him the system had been running fine for months did they do anything or move the system. They said no. I asked if they checked to make sure the ethernet cable was plugged in. They said yes, with an I can't believe you even asked me that question, attitude. They demanded I get on a plan and fix the issue. Since they were a very big customer and had a few more machines on order I flew out that evening from New York to Colorado. I showed up to the site bright and early the next morning. They took me to the machine on the production floor. I verified the system wasn't connected to the network. I went right to the back of the system, noticed the network cable we half out. In those days the network cable was held in by a clip. I plugged in the network cable and everything came back up in seconds. I was there for a total of 10 minutes. I turned to the guy who ripped me a new one on the phone and said "All fixed, the network cable was unplugged". He was so embarrassed and just walked off. I worked with the network consultant for a few hours since my flight wasn't until that evening and then took a drive around Colorado. ... View more

AlexP,   I tried this and it doesn't seem to be working for me. I have a template for all my sites. I added a group policy in the template. I then went under DHCP and added the group policy to the VLAN (1). When I look under the template and group policy it says the affecting clients is 0. Am I doing something wrong? ... View more

Is it possible to setup different Layer 7 firewall rules depending on the SSID? I have 2 SSID's, one for Business and one for Guest. On my MX65W security appliance I would like to block different sites depending on the SSID you are connected to. I can do this on my AP's but not the security appliance.   Any help is greatly appreciated. ... View more
