Hi Michel,   That little blue dot under your AP in the middle is what you are looking for, I've found that the location is not always accurate but it does help to give you an idea of where that device is. Below is an example of a few hosts in some of the networks I manage.       Hope this helps.   ... View more

Re: Cannot ping backup interface

I have dual internet circuits terminated on my MX68, running Active/Ready and can ping both from the internet so yes, you should expect the same results. The problem you are describing seems to be related to the circuit itself, not the MX. I'm curious to know if the same carrier is providing both circuits, but anyway, if that's something you really need to pursue, I'd have a ticket open with your ISP provider.   Hope this helps.   ... Hi,   Is there an specific reason why you are trying to ping the WAN interfaces from the LAN? The 192.168.0.1 is the  internal firewall interface which is the internal user's default gateway, this is the default configuration of the firewall which allows the firewall to provide internet access right out of the box. you should be fine as long as both interfaces are in the firewall are registering to the dashboard as Active/Ready.   Also, part of the default configuration is to have WAN load balancing disable, if you want to enable load balance (Active/Active) you need to enable it under:   Security & SD-WAN --> Configure --> SD-WAN & Traffic Shaping --> Uplink selection --> load balancing   Hope this helps.     ... 3. Eliminar el dispositivo de tu organizacion.   Espero te sirva esta infomacion.   Saludos! ... View more

Re: MS425 stack to MS355 stack issues

It can also be that the stacking of the switches is not working properly on either the 425s or 355s. You might want to try bringing up the LACP connection using a single 425 and 355 first, if this works then the problem will point to switch stacking. ... View more

Leaving the VLAN field blank means that the AP will try to get an IP from the native VLAN DHCP scope (VLAN555 in your case). Try changing the native VLAN on the 2960 to something else, then set the VLAN field on the AP to 555, this way the AP will try to get an IP from tagged VLAN 555 scope.   This would be some strange behavior, but at least we will get some info to have a case open. ... My name is Luis, I am a network engineer at Carousel Industries, I've been in the networking world for ~15 years now, the last 2 working with Meraki products.   What I love the most about my job is that I do implementations for a lot of clients, one day I can be installing 1 MX and 1 MS devices for the church across the street and the next install HA MXs with SD-WAN, dozens of MS stacks and 300+ APs in a high-rise building in Manhattan, who can say no that!   My expectation from this community is to gain insight on Meraki products, best practices and share experiences with all of you.       ... At some point the number of organizations in my dashboard, including test orgs, was over 20 so I decided to do some clean up, so I started deleting test organizations and accidentally deleted a client semi-production/testing network. Wooow! I almost die, but was able to recover 95% of the config just by following step by step the Dashboard Change-log. The client was cool about it, he just asked me "are we back up?", I said "Of course we are! this is Meraki 🙂 ... View more
