You're able to adjust transmit via the app. Note that it will take some time for the power settings to sync down, maybe 1-2mim at most. But it's very much trial and error, unless you have proper wireless tools.

This is correct. GX limits WAN throughout to ~500. Anything above that will not be utilized. This is hard capped at a FW/HW level and known throughout the entire Meraki SD-WAN line. If you want to utilize full throughput, you'll either need to purchase a different firewall or downgrade your connection speed.

Yes there shouldn't be any issues aside from feature parity. Just note this is coming from me working with actual Meraki hardware and not Go, but since it's the same firmware, should work just the same.

Have been facing issues where my device is capped at 90/35. When plugged direct to my modem, I get my advertised speeds of 300/35. Confirmed all this with ISP, which confirms the issue is on the GX side. Factory reset the GX just to see if it's some issue with the config it downloaded, but still persistent. Opened a case with Support and hopefully can make some progress.

You can configure the device for PPPoE on the local status page. Connect to your LAN Go to your MX IP in a web browser Click configure tab and Login - default is just the MX serial as the username exactly how it's written Configure your WAN port for PPPoE.

Swapped out a GX20 for a GX50, process took a bit longer than I had hoped. GX50 took approximately 10 minutes to come online, it needed to fetch it's config at least 4 times before being applied successfully. Once online, none of my other hardware were coming online. Rebooted stack twice, eventually everything was online. Nice! Today I decide to check the app, and I see that under the health page, I have a device(s) reporting offline. Check Web App, same thing. Reinstalled Android app, no change. All hardware reporting online on hardware page. Health page says differently. Any thoughts as to why the reporting is incorrect on health page?

That won't work. APs will only mesh if they are apart of the same Network within an Organization. That said, if the SSID is the same yes they will fail over, however you will have two competing SSIDs broadcasting which with cause client issues as they will likely flap between APs as they will connect to which ever is strongest.

This is what annoyed be a bit, though I understand even with enterprise meraki you wouldn't be able to add a new model without removing (for HA it doesn't matter) It would be nice if we could add it ahead of time for staging purposes, but I suspect that won't be possible. Best suggestion for staging: Install and power on a head of time then add to the account to minimize down time.

How are existing security licenses handled when swapping out GX hardware? Is it tied to the tenant or the hardware itself? If it's tied to the hardware what is the best way got me to get it moved to the GX50?

I was actually able to resolve the issue by uninstalling the app, which is odd because it impacted my web access also. Not sure if there is some token stored on the app, which gets pushed to Meraki backend to confirm the MFA has been applied correctly?

My account already has MFA enabled on the account. Whenever I try to login I get prompted to enable MFA, which I go through the process. Upon completion, it provides the error: MFA is already enabled and I can not continue to login. I believe this is reproducible, as this happened to me once before. Login via your credentials When prompted for MFA close the app completely Re-open and try to log in again Should be prompted to configure MFA.

Review your VOIP provider's required configuration. Are to able to make the needed configs? Ports? If you take a handset to a different network, does it work? Home network? Are there firewall rules blocking inbound traffic at all? Is the MGO appliance doing it? Are you able to get a packet capture (harder on MGO)

This is likely tied to when I was getting invited to a regular Meraki Org to the same email that manages my personal Meraki Go network. That said, have two separate and unique accounts. When trying to sign into my Meraki go account it forces me to enable MFA, which was already set up. I go through the process and it gives me an error saying it's already setup and I can't log back in. Thoughts?

While I don't have VLANs configured for anything (use this at home) you can configure access ports for switches, which offers Auto Voice VLAN. That said, I'm not sure if QoS is automatically applied to those ports or not.
