As long as your AP is in meshing state you won't be able to edit the IP address. First make sure your mgmt VLAN is fully available on your switch hosting the AP's. Maybe do a MAC table lookup on the switch and check if you have the MX MAC on the MGMT VLAN. Then make sure your AP ports have native vlan management AND list that management vlan in the allow list. If your AP has some pre config that gets in the way just fact default the AP if you can reach it 😉 Finally make sure you have some DHCP scope in your AP mgmt VLAN so your AP can get to the cloud to receive it's configured static IP.

It sounds like the aim of extending the omnis is to extend the coverage provided by the AP. By definition this would have to involve some locations being effectively out of reach for some of the antenna elements. This will severely affect multi-stream clients, where AP and client think they can establish streams, some of which will work and some of which won't. If this is the case, cable extensions won't help.

These are the supernets for all of the sites. Brand A 10.5.0.0./16 Brand B 10.1.0.0/16 10.2.0.0/16 10.3.0.0/16 10.31.0.0/16 Brand C 10.4.0.0./16 10.15.0.0/16 Brand D 10.27.0.0/16 10.28.0.0/16 MX67s are being used on remote sites and MX450s as Hubs.

You can't - you need to regain control of the switch. These tables show what's been officially tested and Meraki tests the Meraki modules produced for Meraki switches. As I said, chances are the Cisco ER4 module will work.

You will want to configure appropriate Cellular Firewall rules for this use case, to block that camera traffic: contact Meraki Support and you can have them apply this ruleset to wired WAN2: https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Firewall_and_Traffic_Shaping/MX_Firewall_Settings#Cellular_Failover_Rules You could also maybe think about a future where you don't have to move all that video around your network (?): with Meraki MV cameras the footage is stored locally, which means you avoid the cost of transporting the 98%+ of footage most people never need to look at. Yes, of course. The RestAPI is your friend. Secure remote administration via HTTPS. Flexible and scriptable. Scalable with action batches. SNMP (read-only) is reasonable for integration with exiting monitoring systems.

Bear in mind, too - I think the most recent versions of Orion also support REST API, which likely provide a more sophisticated, more future-thinking means of interaction. There are numerous possibilities with this, based upon the available and ever-expanding endpoints available in the Meraki Dashboard API, which go beyond basic monitoring: https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/ Of course, these capabilities can be utilised way beyond - and/or in addition to - Solarwinds, too.

This is not possible with a single account. An API key has the same permissions as the Admin account from which it was created. If you require a read-only API, use your full Admin accout to create a read-only admin account and generate a new API key from there.

I think you're right. I just confirmed with the the remote hands support, he had the appliance connected to his home router for the initial firmware upgrade, so the 5G SIM has probably never worked. I never knew that.

No public ip, i just get DHCP address from ISP which get access internet.

It would shut down on both in a warm spare pair. A failover does not cause an MX reboot. It is just a question of how is the VRRP master. Whatever is the primary MX is the VRRP master for all VLANs. So if it can not be the VRRP master for even one VLAN, a failover has to happen so that the other unit can take over the role for all VLANs.

Does this setup make sense? How can I implement it?

Agree with @TBHPTL, using non-DFS channels if possible will remove the chance of weird behaviour with CAC windows and backoffs
