The issue was resolved by removing the Block LAN on the wireless firewall and traffic shaping. The double gateways really through me off.

I am taking over network so not 100% sure why, maybe they were future proofing. I am going to test with a new SSID to confirm if it behaves the same way.

I arrived at site today with an MX68 and MR33. There is an issue with a SSID which is assigning the endpoints two Gateways. One Gateway IP is valid and there is erroneous. Traffic is flowing correctly to the Internet but services on the LAN like printing are not. The SSID in question was setup with Layer 3 Roaming and VLAN Tagging. The tag is set to the correct VLAN with DHCP enabled. However there is only a single MR. There are no errors from the MX or AP, routing table looks good. Firmware: MX 18.107.2 MR 29.7.1 Any ideas?

We have several small sites with Roaming users and we have several SSIDs with PSK only. How are you securing sites without a Radius Server? The issue is users sometimes share SSID info via iPhone/Android. Also, we dont want to get flooded with Access requests to use Meraki Auth. Could we use Auzre AD (multiple Tenants)?

What is the proper method of connecting two MS Switch stacks? We have 1 SFP+ port on each of the stacks available, would using using aggregated ethernet ports be sufficient?

I configured the common VLAN with a uniquire Gateway IP will save no issues. The issue is now when I add the static Route, I use the subnet of the VLAN and next Hop IP, I get the following message: Static lan route subnets cannot be contained by (or be equal to) a VLAN subnet. Which subnet should I use when adding the static route to MX 2? MX 2 is where I am adding the common VLAN. In your example I am using the VLAN 999 subnet 172.16.1.0/30 next hop 172.16.1.1 On MX1 I just added static route 172.16.1.0/30 next hop 172.16.1.2, this saved without error.

To confirm the static route would live on the MX configured without the VLAN I need to reach, correct? Ill give this a shot, thanks again.

Hello We have TWO MXs configured with multiple VLANs. I need to a device to access device across the MXs. Is this possible without adding the VLAN to each MX? Sorry if this is confusing or I am not explaining properly, but I am attaching a diagram to help. Thank you for your help.

We have two MS 225's that are being used in production and we want to setup a stack with the Meraki Stacking cables. Has anyone had any experience with this and do you know if we will have to reconfigure all the switches after setting up the stack? I hope to have as little downtime as possible as I know we have to power off the switches before connecting the stack cables, and setting up the stack. But not sure if we will have to reconfigure all of the switch ports or not.

It can def be done. If using the integrated LTE Modem you have to activate the MX before by connecting it to the internet via Internet 1 or Internet 2 ports. ONce this is done you can use Cellular as your primary Internet source.

A bit little here but you could use the following script to help automate the uninstall - From an elevated cmd prompt or other script option: wusa /uninstall /kb:5009543 The long-term option, upgrade MX to ver16.x and install the long waited Cisco AnyConnect.

Not the best advice during this potential outage, but I learned my lesson some years back. We stood up PRTG to monitor our network in additional to the Merkai alerts. I still almost wet my fresh pants when seeing all of the Meraki alerts.

Did your site to site VPN go down? We have about 21 sites across the US and all our tunnels are up. We use a separate monitoring tool to monitor. It is alarming to receive all of the up/down alerts thought.
