Hi Graham, look into your Event log on the MX and do a search for update. You’ll see that the snort rules have been updated quite a few times recently

Hi @MRWallace49 , so you’re in a bit of a tight spot! Are all the APs registered out to the cloud? What is your topology? You mention an MX? Are all your VLAN interfaces configured on this device? Is your WAN connection connected to this device if not what’s upstream? Any firewall rules in place? Happy to do a screen sharing session with you? Not sure how your Big Chiefs would feel about that though.

well done. Glad the issue got resolved. So I take it the ISPs DNS weren’t able to resolve anything to allow the device to speak upto the cloud.

We ran into some issues but this was mainly quirks in the networking on the VM. The actual MX piece was a piece of cake.

Hi @MR , also note that MSs don’t support VTP but they will forward VTP updates. We have this setup (MS at core and legacy Cisco at the edge) across numerous sites as customers start their journey to a full meraki network. As @Bruce mentions you’ll need to configure a single MST instance on your Cisco switches.

Hi @Kasking , this could be down to the Client Tracking option you have selected on the MX? Go to Security&SD-WAN, Configure, Addressing and VLAN's and verify what option you have selected. Try switching over to Unique Client Identifier. Ignore what I have selected below....that was a quick screen scrape from my lab.

Fired up our first vMX-M within Azure today and we're seeing the internet port running at 10Mbps/Half duplex. Is this a cosmetic issue or has something been missed off the configuration within Azure?
