Hi @SudipRai , is this an existing or new deployment? I see you have 300+ devices deployed so if an upstream issue then more devices would be affected. Are all the devices on the same subnet? Could this be a dhcp issue with the pool not being big enough to serve all the devices?

Hi @nirmalkaria , bingo, you’ve got it. You can only manage these devices via the Meraki Dashboard. The license you can buy from a Cisco reseller or somewhere like Insight online.

Do you have an upstream firewall? I would ensure that the required ports, IP's etc are allowed through as per the firewall rules highlighted in the Help section on the dashboard.

hi @nirmalkaria - as far as i'm aware you can't ssh or command line any Meraki product line. Are you getting mixed up with the Juniper vMX in AWS?

hi @This2shallpass - make a copy of your existing Guest SSID and we'll use that for testing purposes. Once you've made a copy maybe rename to MeetingRm_Wless or something applicable to your use case. Now we have a separate SSID for testing purposes and this won't affect your existing network. Go back to Radio Settings and copy one of the existing RF Profiles - by default they'll be one called Basic Indoor Profile or Basic Outdoor Profile. Are you able to get that far?

Basically - when your licences expire your MX's will become nothing more than a brick. They won't pass traffic - simples Renew your licence and the magic will continue.

Hi @This2shallpass - I would leave your existing SSID's alone and as mentioned previously create a new SSID for the devices in question to use 2.4GHz only.

Hi @MK2 - this is default behaviour and there is nothing that can be configured within the dashboard alerts page to change this. Meraki Device Reporting - Syslog, SNMP, and API - Cisco Meraki Maybe worth looking at SNMP which states it can alert for configuration changes. I don't know if it'll provide more detail on the changes made however. HTH

Hi @This2shallpass you'll need to amend or create a new Radio Profile to assign to the new SSID. Wireless > Configure > Radio Settings. Change to Enable 2.4 Ghz only and then apply that profile to your SSID.

Configure a layer 3 vlan interface with a public IP then assign any switchport that vlan as an access port - that is then your uplink port

Hi @S1N1STAR , could be worth exploring Cisco Umbrella to block these Apps for guest users. Umbrella can integrate with Meraki so could be avenue worth exploring

Are all end users devices corporate and managed via an MDM? If so you could restrict users installing these apps and then block browser sessions at the MX

Hi @S1N1STAR , I’m afraid you can’t achieve this with just your Meraki switch. You may even struggle with a Meraki MX as whilst it’ll block requests via a web browser you won’t be able to block users using apps on their devices.
