Same response as per your other post: This is probably as simple as your firewall is blocking DNS traffic from your switch/Meraki management VLAN. Start at the firewall and see what’s being blocked.

Hi @lc-gabriellima , generally, if you’re ordering from within the US then the US power cable is included. All other countries you need to order separately. Veruca Salt 🤣😂 But I do agree a simple migration tool should be made available to the masses. Pointing to an API or script is a cop out. it does irk me a little when people have written a script and state that they’ve made it available in GitHub. Great, well done. Of zero use to me. Build me a tool or app I can use. Yes I could spend the time and learn something new….but I don’t have that time.

As already mentioned it’s not a swift process nor are there any migration tools. id take the time and effort to document and review the current rulesets. Tidy up where required. then it’ll be a manual process to configure your new Meraki fw.

I’d honestly stay clear of such an engagement. Doing anything paid for a friend often doesn’t work out well. What’s that saying “don’t mix business with pleasure”. Unless you can nail down a water tight scope and set of deliverables you’ll be forever beholden to his network, PC, internet issues.

I obviously don’t know your environment but could you keep this simple and use a single interface on your switch purely for management and have that connected directly into your firewall/upstream device? This way you can control changes to all other ports just as long as you don’t push anything to that uplink?
