I thought the same also. The issue has followed them from 11.xx now over to 12.xx. Here's hoping 14.xx does something different.

Hello, We have a 425-32 stack that experience and odd failure and I was curious if anyone else has ran across something similar. 2x MS-425-32 switches as "cores" L3 being used DHCP being used OSPF being used 9215 Frame Size being used (VSAN traffic) Agg Ports used for servers/distro switches (ms 250s) 12.28 Here's what happens - Randomly one of the members goes offline. The ports all become inactive and the LED turns orange. This is resolved by a simple hard reboot. Both have done this, however, it would appear lately its only SW1. There is no set interval for the failure as it can be 4 days or 2 months. Support believes its ipv6 MTU commands from a upstream ISP. We are working to filter v6 as there's no way to disable/filter it on the switch.

I have a MR33 and MR42s in my home. During config of the entire layout I found the 33 to perform MUCH worse than the ISP provided AP and certain much worse than the 42s. Using an iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Enterprise user here - Have 500 of these in the field and ran across the same issue. Per Verizon - “The 9030 is end-user mode. And 9031 is lab test mode. 9032 is enterprise mode. Devices should never be in 9031 as that is a PID that is purely for us. Plug the device into a PC, open a web page, navigating to 192.168.1.1/labtestinfo, you should be to able to change back to End-user mode.”

Barry, Not any I can post here unfortunately. The setup was very simple back to the core. It's 2 MX 600's, 2 Nexus 3k's as edge devices, and we are using BGP->OSPF redistribution. Once the neighbor-ship is up and running routes are exchanged as one would expect. Two templates for hub selection and we were up and operational. The lab was very easy, however, our production environment is proving to be much more interesting. I'll post back with the final product once its complete.

I just finished a POC using MX600's, Nexus edge device, and BGP. I'd be happy to answer questions if anyone has them. The lack of documentation on BGP available raised alot of questions for me so I lab'd it.

The only options I see here are - Bring up another MX device and test in a lab environment. Quickly change the port on the known good server and try to connect. (during a maintenance window or late at night) Because my NPS is setup to verify machine name and cert the test doesn't work for me either.

I'm in the same boat currently with auto pilot. We've resorted to the AD splash screen, device policy, and FW rules to allow the devices to join. This isn't optimal and several vendors helping us with deployment have no real answers.

Hello everyone! Here's the task I have at hand and was curious if anyone has suggestions on an easier way to do this - I have a fairly large org of ~400 sites and my predecessors grouped some into templates and others..well are standalone networks. The templates are fine for management, but I'd like to break some of the sites out to group together for firmware roll out testing. Since many of these networks bound by templates were actually created by using the template there are no "previous settings" and support says the only way to remove them is to basically screen cap everything and recreate. Does anyone have an easier way to accomplish this? API's perhaps? The test groups will ideally be in a template so I'm unclear on the ability to move between templates. Thanks for any insight!

@DexterLaBora I have a fairly large org and want to pull a client list. Can you give me some ideas how to overcome a the time out (settings tab?) and the 2,000,0000 limit in sheets? Is there a way for it to break the data up between sheets?

@PhilipDAth - You're right about the one drive for business. If you look at the traffic for my client (first post) the second entry down is a speed test site that allows you to pick file sizes to test with. I picked a larger file which gave me time to see results. Here is a cap of the behavior in action. This is Chrome pushing a file upload while OD is syncing a new folder.

I can select one drive also but that's now how the device see's the traffic. It's identified as Sharepoint for reasons beyond me. The rule I have works if I select specific bandwidth limits so I know that it's seeing the traffic correctly.

Hello! Here's what I'm trying to achieve and the steps I've taken so far: I have a large One Drive roll out about to happen @ 500 branch offices and each user data upload set will be unique. These offices have a slew of upload pipe's from 3 to 50 Mb/s up. My thought was that I could set a shaping rule for One Drive to Priority to "Low" and that would let all other traffic (which I've read is marked "Normal") have more bandwidth available. This doesn't work as I believe it should. Details about my config - 200/7 cable connection MX64/MS-225-48/MR18 test lab Down/Up speeds are set and accurate The dashboard see's this traffic as "Sharepoint" not sure why.. outdated definitions? Policy is set on MX device I know its correct due to hard bandwidth limits working perfectly The test I perform is -start uploading a file in a browser window -start large file sync with one drive Monitor Task Manager for each programs usage Doesn't matter which one I start first often the One Drive upload will consume more bandwidth than the browser upload Am I missing something here?

There appears to be alot missing from this diagram. Where are these MX devices located? A datacenter? In pass through mode you can not port channel the devices directly.
