Thanks Philip. I was finally able to run some tests and validate the best approach. I believe the group policy would be the easiest one. But I couldn't figure out whether I would be able to see the IoT device if I am connected to the guest SSID. Guest users are usually separated from the network. Thanks in advance Ned

You are right Brandon. Except I need to submit a pricing for an org I dont' have access to. That's why I was trying to get a rough estimate of the volume it would represent.

I think it happened once about two years ago that Meraki deleted parts of some organizations based on programming mistakes. I assume these customers had been happy to have a backup to apply. Also, think about completely messing up your config. With a backup, you could easily go back. I wonder why Meraki does not have something like this build in the system. "Cloud" does not automatically mean the data is safe.

You can create a group policy that bypasses the splash page and then apply that group policy to any user you want to be connected for more than 3 months. If you want to automate the solution, you have a couple of options. You can host your own splash page and make an API call into Meraki to apply the group policy after the user clicks through your splash page. You can also use MAC-based access control with a RADIUS server and set the group policy in the RADIUS reply. You might also want to open a case with Meraki to see if they have any other configuration options available to you.
