Great, glad that helped. If you want to stay in the mid-range, 9174I seems sensible and especially if you have limited PoE/mGig. The CW9174 is a well-balanced Wi-Fi 7 choice with full tri-band Wi-Fi 7 capability, but without requiring 60W PoE or 10G switching to get meaningful benefit even if the 60W/mGig is not in your wired infrastructure (yet). So if you're limiting factor for now is 30W and/or 1G ports, while you might not realize the full benefits of 9176/9178 until you refresh switching, the 9176/9178 certainly step things up with more total radio capacity, 10G ports, and higher horsepower in general for high-density and more demanding enterprise environments. And 9178 adds the 2nd 10G uplink port and the 4th client-serving radio so you can have full-time 2.4/5/5/6GHz. But going back to your original post, if this is for your SOHO environment and coming from MR36/42, I think the mid-range 9174I fits well. In this case, the CW9174I gives you the Wi-Fi 7 feature set and future-proofing but without over-investing in horsepower you may not immediately utilize until the wired side is refreshed (and might not ever really need or utilize in a SOHO deployment).
