Just has had a panic, one site APs going offline. Then another. And another. Then mine went offline, which clearly they are not. Panic over. These issues/incorrect alert errors are becoming more frequent. What's going on at Meraki?

I think it's pretty poor that this doesn't appear in the list of Layer 7 firewall rules yet. How often is this updated? ICQ appears in the list though! I went into content filtering and added this into the blocked url box, which seems to stop the web and app from working. tiktok.com *.tiktok.com

Same here on node n143 in the UK. I came off a call to see the alerts that all our switches and APs were offline, but clearly that wasn't the case.

I think this is always the safest option... to VPN in first to use local resources, rather than open up ports.

Is there an MSP version of the licences? We have a few companies that would want to use AnyConnect, although probably only 1-3 people would need VPN access in their business. Purchasing 5x25 licences seems a bit over the top.

We are coming up for our licence renewal (< 10 employees) and we have various MX/Z appliance throughout Scotland for homeworking. We have the opportunity to upgrade our broadband to gigabit. The MX95 seems overboard for us to get full throughput with the Adv Sec licence. 80% plus of devices are wireless and I would say that 15% of wired are hubs such as hive/Philips Hue etc. In fact off the top of my head I can only think of 2 devices that are wired (but these could be moved to wireless). If we were to move to the MR Advanced licence, is there a comparison with the MX Advanced licence so that I can see exactly what we would lose? I can't seem to find anything on the Cisco or Meraki sites (inc partner portal etc.) Thanks, Chris

I had something similar on a licence renewal and it just would not accept the key. Tried a day later and it was fine. Perhaps you can exit/log out and try again? Or put in the order number if you added the key/serial previously.

I have a customer that purchased a MG21 through us and 1 year licence while waiting for fibre to be fitted. That is now happening, so their 2Mb/s ADSL no longer needs a 80Mb/s 4G backup/primary for customer use. Licence is about to run out, and obviously no need to renew. They have asked if they can sell it on a popular auction site. I've never encountered this before. I assume this is OK so long as we un-claim it and make it clear the buyer needs a licence for it to function? Does the warranty transfer when the buyer purchases just the licence through another partner? Thanks, Chris

AP may incorrectly log client roams as authentication failures (Wi-Fi 5 Wave 2 MRs/Wi-Fi 6 MRs) Now this would explain why I'm still getting lots of authentication failures. Will certainly upgrade this evening.

I've had a similar situation, perfectly working MR33 and the licence has just run out (after purchasing the bar/restaurant 2 years ago). No one has a clue who previously had access etc and no direct proof of purchase.... so it's a new MR36.

Exactly, 1Gbps with Adv Sec is what I was looking at. Just moved to full fibre BT @314Mbps and this is working well. 900Mbps available in the next month or so, debating whether to upgrade or not now these new MXs are coming out.

I've seen this happening a lot with the MG21 we put in for a client last year. Can't work out what is going on or why it's happening. Unlike yourself ours is not consistent when it goes offline / loses connection. Unplugging it and back in again restores the connection.

Will the MS390 ever become stable? Also, I think it woul dbe helpful to group issues/additions by model... perhaps those that affect multiple models at the top and then in alphanumeric order issues/fixes that affect only a single model.

White list the mac address of the echo and it will bypass the splash screen. You may need to add the mac address first because before connecting it to wifi.
