Throughput on MX84

We have increased to 500 MB at a few locations, but we are only seeing about 250 MB. We tested the speed before the firewall, and it is showing 500 MB, but with the enhanced security turned on, it is only getting 250 MB. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there something else we can do before replacing the MX84s?

According to the datasheet you should be getting 320mbps advanced security throughput, a little more than you are getting but certainly not 500mbps!

MX84 will also not run the newest firmware, probably time to upgrade. 😊

Are you using the Advanced security features?

When you use advanced security features the maximum throughput is 320 MB.

We have just replaced our MX84 -however I did see speeds of 400 (with the latest supported firmware). We have all the advanced security features. 

With our new MX75, we are now getting 900.

Tests are on fast.com and dashboard throughput to Meraki.
