Hmmm, the only other thing I could think of is perhaps a group policy was applied to the device under wireless > access control. I can't think of any other way that a policy to explicitly block a device from WiFi may have gotten applied.

@Hubble Usually a block like this is enforced by an admin. I would suggest looking at the change log for the organization for the keyword blocked. Here is the logs from when I tested it to generate the screenshots for the iPad.

@Hubble Do you have a screenshot of the error message the device is receiving? Based on your original comment it sounded to me like the device is being blocked at the wireless level not anything else. This is the splash screen that I am seeing when a device is blocked from the network. Blocked from WiFi If so, I would suggest looking at your wireless clients for clients with a policy and see if you see it being blocked there. I tested this earlier and I could not find the blocked client until I looked for clients with a policy.

@Richard_B I think you would be after something like this: protected String getOrNull(JSONObject voiceVlan, String key) { if (voiceVlan != null && json.containsKey(key)) { return (String) json.get(key); } return null; } If this works I modified the code on example 9 from this site. https://www.programcreek.com/java-api-examples/?class=org.json.simple.JSONObject&method=containsKey If not you might be able to find something that works with some modifications for your needs.

@Richard_B Okay, I think I understand better now. You are looking something along the lines of this: If the value is blank then null else return stored value Let me see if I can figure anything out then to help you.

Don't forget that the device needs to be running iOS 12.1 or later for the auto-updates of Apps to work correctly. Anything before 12.1 didn't ever seem to work for doing auto-updates of Apps. Even though the boxes were checked it never seemed to update until something in 12.1 fixed the issue. I could never find any specific notes as to why either.

Just a heads up, I was trying to tweak my profile push for Apple School Manager and had this happen: Hmm, this doesn't seem right. It appears if you use the Mac Devices auto tag it ignores any criteria and selects only the Mac Devices. I am currently on the phone with support but wanted to share this as quickly as possible.

@ewwhite The 26.2 release fixed quite a few of the issues we were seeing. Apple has also said there was an issue in previous versions of iOS which is supposed to be corrected in iOS 13, so we'll see what happens.

@wperry1 With iOS 13 you can request the mobile site. Apple has changed iPads to look like Mac when browsing the web. To request the Mobile Website click on the AA on the left side of the which will give you several options. I don't know what Meraki would really be able to do as it was a fundamental change made by Apple on how iPads present themselves on the web. I had completely forgotten about this being in iOS 13, until I went to a website that asked me to enable flash.

@Leeham When you added the App to push out how did you set it up? I selected the Meraki Systems Manager Agent from this screen and it installed correctly.

@Mdobs It was a "feature" that Meraki released about 4 months ago with little fanfare. Here is my original thread on this issue. https://community.meraki.com/t5/Endpoint-Management-Systems/Activation-Locked-iPads/m-p/37600/highlight/true#M4018 If you are having issues there is an API script that can be ran and there are also new features in the dashboard to clear the activation locks en masse. One thing you do need to do is to clear the setting for Allow activation lock under Privacy and Lock settings.

@Stephen-aps I just tried it myself and it is working as well. Even the Meraki support rep was confused as it was working for him as well. My guess is whatever change they made got undone or fixed.

@Stephen-aps I'm having the same issue. Tried both Edge and Chrome and it appears like it will load the page and then crashes out to the view failed to load screen. I have opened a support case and I'm waiting to hear back.

@Meraki4Schools Two things I would definitely do would be to set all of your App Pushes to be device based and then hide the App Store via restrictions on the iPad. Are you using the paid or legacy version of Meraki MDM as well as that will determine what you can and cannot do?

Sounds like you are missing something from Organization > MDM > Apple VPP Accounts I would double check that section and then make sure the licenses you purchased are in the correct location.
