Hey Guys, I've finally got this working, I ran a packet capture and for some reason whenever I changed a setting on the Meraki peer even when saving it wouldn't actually broadcast the changes I've made, for example if I configured the diffie-hellman group to 4 from 14 it would still broadcast 14 even though the peer config showed that it was 4. I deleted and re-created the peer and the tunnel came straight up! How strange. Hope this helps someone else.

Why i've not done this is theoretically is possible, AWS Direct Connects use VLANs and Express Routes use Q-in-Q which appears to be supported on the Catalyst switches/IOS-XE. Realistically the AWS Direct Connect/Express route is just a layer 2 pseudowire link connection that you would usually terminate onto a router/firewall. I see most customers terminate these onto their DC Firewall clusters with Zones/Firewall policies applied to limit traffic going over and from the AWS/Azure environments. Some ISPs can just terminate the Direct Connect/Express Routes into their MPLS WANS VRFs directly and allow the Direct Connect/Express route to terminate directly into the customers WAN VRFS.

The 2 are an Atrium install So yeah they are that high. No option to lower the mounting. Downgraded those 2 for now. Support told me either port will work. They are investigating my report & may have a fix in a future update. Thanks

Compatibility is poor, especially IoT devices. You will find many devices that can not connect at all, or that can not maintain a stable connection. Do not attempt to change an existing SSID. Instead, create a brand new SSID, and migrate only those clients across that work.

The Cisco networking sub can contain W7 AP's, C9350 switches and 8K routers. You can freely combine these with MR, MS, MT etc.. licenses in the same subscription. You only need to make sure the amount of the devices are correct.

Just to be clearer, you can't access it using the default IP because you don't have the management port, but if your switch receives an IP via DHCP you should be able to access it using that IP. You already opened a similar discussion and this was explained there if I'm not mistaken. If you are having difficulties, I suggest you contact Meraki support.

Hello Following up on my problem with Apple devices, I updated the MR44 and MR36 access points to version 32.1.6 (previous version 31.1.8). I haven't been able to reproduce the problem for the past two weeks. My Apple devices are now consistently registering with the ARP table of my core network, and I am no longer experiencing network outages.
