From your VPN client can you ping the gateway IPs like 192.168.128.1 & 192.168.1.x?

Oh, I assumed you meant you created a VLAN on the MX for the 192.168.1.0/24 network and they were physically connected. If not, sounds like you need to do that. Or, change the Orbi network to be on the .128 network. Or, if you don't need the .128 network just edit it and make it the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet and connect your Orbi.

Is your hub in routed mode or concentrator mode? And, on the site to site VPN page do you have the client VPN subnet enabled for VPN? Could be the spoke is using split tunnel and traffic back to the VPN client via the hub isn't being advertised and so it's going directly out the spoke's internet link?

You don't need a MX. Meraki APs can connect to anything.

The difference is one call is device level and the other network level. So, the device level call would return clients connected to say a single AP based on the serial number you input. The network call would return clients connected to all APs in a network.

Yes, you can use regular LAN ports to interconnect the three switches together. This of course will create a loop and spanning tree will block port/ports where needed. I assume your diagram implies creating 4 port LAGs on each switch? Of course this won't be a stack in the same way a 2xx/3xx series stack with the dedicated stacking port. But, it achieves your redundancy concern if a single switch fails.

Seems highly unlikely you received 2 defective switches. Can you just connect them to something else, allow them to receive DHCP, and check into dashboard first so they can get a firmware update? If there's no DHCP available and it needs a static then using the mgmt port or a front port should allow you to access the local status page. The mgmt port should hand out DHCP to your client. If using a front side regular LAN port you need to give your host a static IP and navigate to 1.1.1.100.

Suppliers change over time, especially in these challenging times with supplier and inventory issues. Anyway, it should work fine. I've used mixtures of transceivers many times.

Anything that shows as combined should have the option to split. Without being able to see your entire dashboard I can’t tell what’s going on completely.
