Are sure the Host can be reached? Tested it on my infra, with IP and Name and worked fine. Try to ping it from Cameras > Network > Tools

Solved it...switched to the new version of the Access Control Site...tada...transistion mode is available

Interesting...looks the same for me as @AxL1971 mentioned it. No Tranistion Mode option on the drop down. And I have MR 31.1.5.1 running on my AP's.

I guess the /30 is the WAN IP of the Device the ISP provided to you. This means the range you can use is the /29 If it is this way, you can not use the /30 and you have to uses the addresses out of the /29 for the MX

did you try the managment port which porvides IP via DHCP? MS : Select MS switches have a dedicated management port that can be used without needing to set a static IP on your client. When connected to the management port of a Meraki switch, your device can obtain the appropriate IP settings via DHCP. Alternatively, the following IP settings can be used by the client device to access the Local Status Page.

Does anyone already have Access Manager available under Organization > Early Access ? https://documentation.meraki.com/Access_Manager/Access_Manager_Overview/Architecture_and_Example_Use_Cases It is documented that it will be rolled out in phases and I am wondering if this phases already started... Seams to me an interesting approach as there is no external radius needed anymore.

One addition...if you have a C9300 in monitoring mode in the meraki dashboard...you have to change the hostname via CLI...

Not sure if you talking about the hostname (ID on the switch) or a VLAN ID, as in the title. But you can give a hostname and also give a name to a vlan ID. Go Switching > Switches and then select the switch. Ones on the Switch on the top left side you can adapt the Hostname of the switch. You can disable not used port manually. The port will be down anyway if nothing is pluged...but i guess you would like to make sure that nobody can connect. hope this helps Roger
