@DennisS I used to manage an MS355-24X stack of four switches and that was 100% reliable during upgrades. It was a core in a DC so had a lot of configuration. The other sites had stacks of 2-3 MS355-48X switches and those also upgraded fine (but you had that result as well). Recently a couple of sites have added stacks of four MS355-48X switches, but I don't think they have had a scheduled in service upgrade yet...

If you connect a switch and patch at one end then go to the other end with your phone and point the camera into the fibre ports you will safely and easily see which fibre the light is coming out of. You might need to repeat in the other direction to find the other one of the pair. Don't stare into the ports as the laser can damage your eyesight.

I made a similar change on an MX75 running 19.7.1 that is managed by shard 199. I changed the DNS from the ISP to Cisco Umbrella. The change took 58 seconds to take effect and using the Umbrella test page before and afterwards confirmed that it changed as expected. @Unexus what shard are you on? Does your connection allow DNS access to those IP addresses? You can test this on a Windows laptop by going to a command prompt and typing: Nslookup (you should see a new prompt) www.cisco.com (the IP addresses should be returned) Server 89.20.160.228 www.cisco.com (the IP addresses should be returned) If the last part fails then you cannot access that DNS server.

@JordanCN have you looked at what the DOM data on the switch port says? It should tell you if the transceiver is either not receiving enough light, or is having to use too much power to send a signal.

Totally agree with @KarstenI above. You can run WPA3 on bands other than 6GHz. I would totally avoid transition mode, in my testing it was like sticking needles in your eyes, whereas pure WPA3 has some challenges, but does work and I have run it now for a few months.

Have any of the devices connected to it shown an issue? As you said, if it did reboot then the uptime should be updated. It might be worth having a ping monitor on it for a few days to correlate with the dashboard connectivity errors. I'd also raise a support ticket as it could indicate something failing in the switch.

This is quite normal behaviour. The AP has detected radar use in those frequenciew and changed channel to avoid the radar. Are you near an airport, port, military establishment or similar?
