Morning, Given the current commercial uncertainties are Meraki and Cisco still honouring all promotions I.e Deal Registrations, For Education the Buy 10 Pay for 5? - Wish list - where are Meraki and Cisco at with the Anyconnect and MX support or is this a pipe dream - ECMS2 - lost all patience with this one! We’ve been trying to get on this for nearly two years. If it’s just for top tier partners then don’t advertise it to the rest of the community.

Hi there, 1. you’re correct in your understanding in that the MX initially has a single IP Subnet and therefore a single DHCP scope. For more you’ll need to create multiple VLANs and therefore Trunk these to the downstream switch. Why would you have to create a DHCP server and DNS on the network? You can create the DHCP scopes on the MX and also utilise the upstream DNS.

Hi @SobyKuruvilla I'm not sure if you can change one of those ports to a WAN port. I'll let another comment there. However, for a Port-channel to work the media types need to be the same. You can't bundle a fibre port with a copper port.

Surely there isn't much to troubleshoot on the Auto VPN side...? A few clicks and you're done 🙂 What about dashboard best practice when bringing up a new site i.e changing Timezones, Naming the site, setting Spanning Tree Root etc etc.?

We have a number of customers using this setup. MX100’s as the concentrator and a mixed bag of AP’s deployed at various employees houses (MR33’s, 42’s).

As @jdsilva states once you remove a device from a Network it’s gone. An AP may still advertise an SSID but if any clients join their traffic isn’t going anywhere. Are you removing the device from the network and Organisation?

You have to stick to what’s in the datasheets purely for the reason that @PhilipDAth @state’s. Hit an issue further down the road and support will literally throw the ticket out due to the device not being sized correctly. An expensive error.
