@PhilipDAth I don't understand this either? What limitation are you referring to? The only difference I'm aware of is a standard sku blocks traffic by default so you have to use your own vnet and attach an NSG to the subnet in question. You can also reach all of your other resources the same as before, the config is just different as now you put static routes in the MX pointing back to your other Azure Subnets (if you have more than one). If you only have one LAN subnet the mx can either be the gateway for devices on those subnets or you can continue to use a route table and point just SDWAN traffic to the MX. The only limit I'm aware of is the MX can't be the gateway for anything not in its own subnet (at least easily) ... View more

There is no reason this wouldn't work as long as you have generally good internet on your regular trips. Depending on the type of ship and whether its open to the elements, you may need to use the outdoor models for all installs. Have you talked to your Meraki Rep? You can also try plugging the serials into CCW-R to check on manufacturing date but unless they have the uplifted support it's not going to show anything else. License status is only in the dashboard.    However if these devices are in another dashboard that no one has access to, you may be out of luck. I can't speak as someone who's experienced the issue, but presuming your customer's mysql version is vulnerable I would try and do that update as that version of MySQL is EXTREMELY old (Circa mid 2000s), although that could present other challenges. If the version is newer and not vulnerable, I'd open a support case so they can at least analyze and forward over to snort to fine tune the rule as its presumably a false positive. Right now the focus is on making MX code work properly on the new secure router hardware and that's on just one model. So I would suggest going into the dashboard and setting at least one of the wans to DHCP. The MX static settings saved in the cloud usually retain no  matter what you do, until you affirmatively change them. Then if you can get the unit DHCP from something somewhere it will come online and you can modify the other uplink to work at the new site and once it's onsite and working if there is a second ISP you can program it once online. ...
