MR86 in Survey Mode - Transmit power change won't take

I've put 4 MR86 APs in survey mode. I cannot get the power to change.

Don't forget that to work, Power consumption must be 30W (802.3at required).

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Have you claimed the APs into a Dashboard network and applied a Radio Profile to them before you put the device into survey mode?

Hello, Yes I did do that. But applying that radio profile also applied the SSIDs of the profile (it's the company's production profile) and I could no longer connect to the MR86 with the Meraki scan ssid.

Do I need to create a profile specifically for the survey ap?

I'm thinking that since the radio profile that is being applied though our dashboard is the same one used by APs surrounding me in my lab, that I need to follow the same instructions for "Using Channel Widths Other than 20 MHz" from this page:

Conducting Site Surveys with MR Access Points - Cisco Meraki

and create a radio profile with a unique SSID such as "surveyor"

Can you confirm? Thanks so much!
