Hey Community!
Thank you again for all your patience and support with this issue. I know it has been a major cause of headaches for many of you, and with all your help in troubleshooting I'm happy to share that the fix for this has arrived in firmware MX 19.1.8, the current stable release candidate.
A few recommendations before you dive head first:
- If you are already in touch with our Support and Escalations team, please work with your aligned engineer to discuss the upgrade.
- Roll out the upgrade on one location and test all of your applications and services before distributing it to the whole organization.
- If you have a big organization, plan the upgrade in batches, not all in one go.
- If possible, have someone on site that can assist with support data bundle gathering, reboots and factory reset.
- Have a rollback plan in case something doesn't work, keeping in mind that if the device goes offline, it may not receive the configuration to revert the firmware upgrade.
As always, Support is here to help. Give us a ring if anything doesn't work as expected.
Again, thank you for working with us through this!
