Can we leave the egos at home!

All

I’m not going to name names but can we please leave our ego’s at home when coming to this forum.

Having been a long time user here I’ve noticed a severe degradation in politeness to one an other and more importantly to new users and those asking questions and seeking help.

Those seeking help should not be belittled and made to feel inferior.  Especially those who hold a higher badge/rank.

All the best.

Darren

We have to protect our Community members. This shouldn't feel like reddit 2.0

Hey guys,

I agree 100%, I arrived in this community today and I have noticed this.

However, I noticed some of your posts, and you also need to improve. You are not exactly a model of people. And you should have a little more empathy, because you don't know what the person might be going through.

Put yourself in someone else's shoes. Sometimes a person may have a problem and ends up reflecting on how they respond.

You can simply call the person privately to talk before leaving.

As someone who lost everything last year I understand where you’re coming from.

One thing I will suggest is if you feel a reply isn't up to standard using the "Report inappropriate content" option. Perception is always in the eye of the beholder so using the above option lets the Meraki community team make that call.

The only thing I will say on this matter is I believe this thread should be deleted in short order and any further perceived issues addressed in DMs if required, a thread like this should not exist on a forum for professionals.
