Huge delay with enrolled devices appearing

I've spoken to support about this but they were unable to find a problem. When me or a colleague enrol a device in SM the device can taken anywhere from 15 minutes to half an hour day to appear in the device list. This is affecting iOS and tvOS  devices.

Devices are all loaded into Apple ADE.

Is anyone else having these problems?

Is there a difference between the "new" and "old" view for System Manager >Devices? There's a known issue where there is sometimes a discrepancy / delay between devices showing up on the new view.

This is what is causing the issue. Any idea when the new UI is going to come out of Beta or we can at least disable it?

Here to help

I've noticed some new Windows endpoints not showing up on the Devices page, but have been able to view them by going to Systems Manager > Summary where they appear in the New Clients table

Comes here often

We have noticed the following:

  1. After a new device is configured in ADE and provisioned, it will take up to 30 minutes or more to be listed in Device.
  2. Searching for the serial number of the device in Devices (SM, Monitor, Devices ) will leave no results
  3. It makes management extremely time consuming and the provisioning difficult.
  4. We have noticed that after switching to new dashboard view

@BlakeRichardson Do you have alert notifications turned on for when devices enroll? I'd be interested to see if you are seeing a delay with those as well.

I have seen a 5-15 minute delay in getting those notification emails.

I do but I haven't paid them much attention to be honest.
