Order confirmation emails

Not sure about anyone else but are others having issues with the new order confirmation emails? My dashboard will not accept the software order claim key, it reports it as invalid.

The claim full order button just links to https://acount.meraki.com which seems misleading, I would have thought it would be a unique URL to claim the entire order but I guess not.

IMO the new method isn't great, splitting software licensing and hardware into seperate emails just means more emails.

The new emails stink and the order numbers do not work, you have to claim the serials from the attachment and then apply the licenses manually. You also seem to get a separate email for each licensing sku, although it's still just one key per order. Don't even get me started on the new forced wizards in CCW. Not sure who this upgrade helped but it wasn't customers or partners.

Yeah it's not great and is just more admin work. The old process was simple, I am guessing the changes are due to Meraki sales being more aligned with Cisco's systems.

Hello! I'm new to this community and wanted to share some relevant information on this thread.

The Meraki onboarding process has changed due to updates in Cisco's systems. Based on feedback from customers and partners, we'll be enhancing the email content in the coming weeks to clarify the onboarding steps. We're also addressing a few known issues, such as consolidating emails for single shipments and using the order claim key in organizations with PDL licenses.

With the new order claim key, you can claim both hardware and software licenses together if purchased with a subscription. For Co-term or PDL licenses, you'll need to claim them separately.

We recognize the onboarding process is different now, especially for Co-term/PDL, which requires a second claim event. We're committed to improving and simplifying your onboarding experience.  If you’d like more information, feel free to DM me.

Thank you for the update. Would be great if the new CCW wizards were not mandatory either. That was a related part of these changes. Adds several steps to each SKU add when working on quotes.

Yes! The Cisco Commerce team is also working on an "expert" flow that would provide an alternative to the guided flow.

Thanks for sharing, I guessed this was a part of the bigger picture change, it's just frustrating that it's made a simple process difficult.

Meraki becoming more aligned with the Cisco Juggernaut was bound to happen at some point.
