Logging when cloud is not reachable
I am wondering what happens with the logs of a device while the cloud is not reachable?
So basically, if lets say a switch does not have connectivity during 3 hours with the cloud. What happens
with the logs generated from the switch during this time. Will this logs be synchronized with the cloud as soon the
connectivity is back, or do I not have any logs from this 3 hours?
Many thanks for your answers.

"While the Cisco Meraki cloud is unreachable, management, monitoring, and hosted services are temporarily unavailable:
- Configuration and diagnostic tools are unavailable
- Usage statistics are stored locally until the connection to the cloud is re-established, at which time they are pushed to the cloud
- Splash pages and related functionality are unavailable"

Of course there will be a limit to the amount of data that can be stored locally.

Its not.
I have the problem at the moment, a MX it not fetching its configuration. It is reachable from the internet and connected to the cloud (after it worked several months), but it is not showing anything in the log.
Even after the support fixed it.

Hi,
I believe you may not have any logs reflected one the connectivity is restored.
However I understand if you have a syslog integrated in your LAN.
You might capture the events there.
As per the Out-of-Band Architecture of Meraki
• Only configuration and usage statistics are stored in the cloud
