Thanks Ryan I have seen document but unclear as to who my 'partner' is. Not sure my wife will be of much help here. I buy the new device and license from my preferred vendor and then contact my Meraki account Manager to edit my license? Or do I buy just the devise and ask my 'partner' (?) to edit the subscription license.

Hi All If I have a subscription license linked to a network, and all devices in the network are licensed and I want to add another MS device, how do I go about adding an extra device to the subscription license. Do I need to apply for a new subscription license every time I add a device to a network? If I understand correctly, the subscription license may have 2x MX devises, 5x MS devises and 5x MR devises, all licenses are associated with a physical device. If I wish to add another MS devise, I need to update the subscription license - but how? Thanks in advance

Hi All As I have a 'Greenfield Dashboard' to design I am hoping to garner some knowledge from people who have done this before. The company I work for has 10 sites, in 5 countries. The plan over the next 12 months is to implement SD-WAN using Meraki MX devices and then over the longer term to implement MS, MR across all sites. As each site is its own financial silo, they will have their own license start and end dates. Would it be better to have a single Organization, <Company Name>, with a separate network per site, <Location>, and a Subscription License per site. Or, would it be better to have a separate Organization per site with separate networks for MX devices, MS devices, etc., where the networks for the site share the same Subscription License. Organization Subscription License Network <Company Name> 01_Sub_Lic Site_01 02_Sub_Lic Site_02 03_Sub_Lic Site_03 etc. ... ... Or Organization Subscription License Network Site_01 01_Sub_Lic Site_01_MX Site_01_MS Site_01_MR Site_02 02_Sub_Lic Site_02_MX Site_02_MS Site_02_MR etc. ... ... Thanks in advance for any advice and other options you can share. P.S. I would choose the first option as I like things simple and clean - but you may have a different experience.

Thanks Ryan As we are only starting on the Meraki road I assume Co-Term to be our only option, "As of September 2023, if you are creating a new Meraki organization, you will automatically default to the co-term licensing model." In the case of co-term where the license has licensing for the organization expired and the organization has been shutdown, after the 30 day grace period. Will my 'network' still be running in the background?

Jimmyt234 - Thanks for replying. I have an existing MPLS network to all my sites. How would I use routed mode from the start as I will have an existing firewall and layer 3 switch in front of my MX device? Thanks

Hi All Firstly, I am new to Meraki. The first part of the plan, scheduled for 2025, is to connect all our sites using Meraki Auto SD-WAN. I intend to use a MX Appliance as a VPN Concentrator Hub to connect 12 sites, 6 international, as SD-WAN spokes. Once all sites are connected via SD-WAN I would like to edit the Hub WAN appliance from a VPN Concentrator Mode to Routed Mode, making it the edge device taking care of security and layer 3 routing. As the VPN Concentrator will be installed at our data centre; - can this be done - in a couple of hours - what do I need to consider - would I need to recreate all the VPN connections - is there an article that describes such a move in detail - that I have missed. Thanks in advance
