We are over the moon about our latest badge! The Lift-Off badge recognizes members who have taken their first significant steps within the community.

Lift-Off Badge

How do I get one of these?

Earning your fly new badge is a cinch:

  1. Write your first post (why not start by introducing yourself?)
  2. Give one kudo to a post that you appreciate
  3. Make it a habit — sign in to the Community at least twice

What if I’ve already done all that?

Any member who has already completed these three tasks will automatically be awarded this badge. If you don’t receive anything and feel this was in error, please email us at community-help@meraki.com.

What other badges are there?

Take a look at the master list of community badges.

Hi... Even I want all the badges so that I will show them to my fellow colleagues who used to make me feel I am not worth enough. But ohh Hello I am the only one who cleared the Meraki exam.

So I don't care but I want all badges :smileytongue:

I would like to thank Meraki for such a great enthusiasm you fill inside us with all these communities and events announcements...

Hey guys,

Kudos to all of you. Can someone share how difficult is the CMNA examination ?

Komal
Conversationalist

I am also searching for the website and CMNA certification. But I guess it's only for partners...

I wanted to pursue this certification but did not get any URL or registration website for this. Can someone please help me with understanding the process for this.

Thank you in advance.

Hello from Detroit.

I love the easy lift of Meraki to design, deploy, and support entire networks.

@Bogdan

CMNA is not difficult, is you've paid attention in the training you'll easily be able to do it.

@Komal

CMNA is indeed for partners and Cisco personnel only. But ECMS1 (formerly known as CMNO) and ECMS2 (new training) and the CMSS certification that's in development is for customers too. More info can be found on the Meraki Learning hub here: https://community.meraki.com/t5/Learning-Hub/ct-p/hub

Hi @MWinther -

Regarding email reminders about CMNA certification renewal... your certification itself doesn't expire, but your Meraki licenses from any promo gear will. You're eligible to take the CMNA refresh to renew your licenses 2.5 years after you took CMNA; I PM'd you with info about when you took yours.

Cheers!

- Caroline

As someone who has only just started with Meraki and the collaboration of the message boards, can someone tell me what the badges are for?

BrechtSchamp
Kind of a big deal

Bragging rights... They also incentivise participation. And they activate the collector inside of us.

@Decker19797, I know that the training courses are difficult to get into due to the high demand for both the content and the take home equipment. There were over 140 registrations for the courses offered near me and only 15 spaces available. Good luck in getting in to one near you!

I believe I have done this, but still no badge 😞

CarolineS
Community Manager

@SoCalRacer - Strange, it certainly does look like you have earned the Lift Off badge! As a first troubleshooting step - try logging out and logging back in, just to make sure it's not the "Log in twice" part that's the problem?

UPDATE: @SoCalRacer - I just realized that, though you've RECEIVED kudos, you haven't GIVEN any! So just give out a kudo (How about to this comment? :-D) and you should be good to go!

Will lead me to get some work or job? I do not mind giving a few more example, if it can land me a decent job or work.

Happy to be a community member - My actual first post was to provide some feedback and to reiterate a solution to a problem. Specifically, if direct lan streaming is not working for you when you use Meraki Cameras, check to ensure that you can resolve the DNS zone *.devices.meraki.direct correctly.
