MX75 Latency issue

Hi All,

We noticed that we are having a high latency issue from one of our Network. We are getting a constant 166ms throughout the day. We are wondering if we have a solution to this problem we are experiencing. We contacted our ISP (Bouygues).

and here is what Bouygues told us:

"There is no bandwidth degradation, it is due to the way mainland French network is connected to the Ocean Iden department. The latencies that you are observing are normal. I have tested with another customer (Apave) who has a site in French Guiana and we have latency of around 170 ms. There is currently no solution."

Do we have a way to improve our network latency or this is a known issue?

Thanks for everyone who will answer this question.

hi @Charles7 , latency is a little out of your control unless you reduce the load on the circuit.  What does the loss look like?

Is it constant or latency suddenly increased after some minutes?

Or any services' drop you faced at that time.

It is constant

MX 18.107.6

MS 16.7

You have to update MX to MX 18.211.2

And MS to MS 16.8

It can fix that type of issues.
