Yes, on the 1 per dorm room (apartment). Per my above comment, it is a requirement of the college, not exactly sure why but asking us to implement it this way. As mentioned to Blake above- 'With this quantity 50, for example, would it be less work to create 5 or so networks and 10 SSID's per network then assign a unique SSID to each particular AP? (a lot less work to create only 5 networks vs 50 networks?)' Appreciate any thoughts / guidance.

Thanks Blake. I don't know the requirement (working with the construction team not the college who is requiring it). Hi, college dorm with 50 apartments. Want to do 1 AP per apartment and each AP to have their own SSID. With the limitation of 15 SSIDs on a Meraki MX, are there any ways to achieve this? Multiple vLANs? Only need 1 SSID per AP (2 at most). Thank you,

Hi, I've seen the 'wall mount' setting for the MV32 and MV93 in the past but it says 'Beta'. Does anyone know if this feature has or will be moved to general use in the near future? Is it working well in Beta? Looks like a great feature for a wall mounted camera. Thanks!

Hi, we have a need to measure the surface temperature of a flat, metal surface. Anyone find a way to do this? At all possible to tape a probe to the surface to provide a rough idea on the temperature? (doesn't have to be perfect). Same question for water temperature? Is it all possible to put a probe or something in water to get a temperature reading? Thanks for your help!

Hi, we are testing the Meraki Di and it doesn't seem to cycle through the video walls like it did on Windows. Is there a setting to have it cycle through video walls? For example, 48 camera views, cycle through 16 at a time for 'x' number of seconds each? Also, is there a way to have it remember the password when it is restarted so it doesn't have to be manually entered each time it is restarted? (we prefer to keep the password private and not let security guards have it). Thanks!

HI, I'm guessing the answer is no but wanted to see if there was any way to use Meraki panic buttons and bluetooth connect to a Ruckus access point / wi-fi network and eventually be managed by the Meraki portal? (no Meraki AP's, cameras, switches) Thank you,

Figured out what happened, someone changed the below Mounting setting from 'Ceiling' to 'Wall'. Looks like a new setting that's in beta. Changed it back to 'Ceiling' and it was fine.

I used to able to smoothly pan around the room. Now when I do it the image starts to turn sideways and then upside down as I pan. Any ideas on how to fix this? be able to pan around the room with my MV32.

Hi, brand new Meraki installation. MX, switches, AP's, cameras and sensors. Everything working great, visible on the portal including the cameras but we can't see video at all, getting a black screen with 'Video access denied' error from admin user account. Same identical error on all 3 cameras. Any ideas on how to fix this so we can see the video? Thanks, Tom
