I am not sure who needs to hear this but I need to shed some light on my experience today, because this is absolutely unacceptable on all counts.   I am a CMSP and we manage over a hundred different organizations and as a CMSP we own the licensing for the clients with Meraki.   We keep all clients separated by Organization and over a year ago transitioned to Subscription licensing.   4 weeks ago we installed a new client and 3 weeks ago after install we ordered their License. This is pretty standard and how we do every install where we wait until successful install before ordering licensing incase a client cancels, utilizing the grace period.   Our order was confirmed 2 weeks ago and in over 2 weeks Meraki has not touched the order. I called today for licensing support to get assistance / extension until I receive my license.   Licensing support confirmed they see the order and that they have not finished provisioning it and that the issue is fully on Meraki's side and that my order was submitted within the necessary timeframe outlined in the ordering process guide.   Management on Meraki's licensing side REFUSED to give us an extension after the agent requested it multiple times stating we did everything correct and told me I am pretty much out of luck and that my client is set to be disconnected tomorrow. They then had the galls to recommend that I move the firewall to another clients organization as a temporary fix. I am sorry but in a world with us putting as much emphasis on cyber security how could Meraki support even consider recommending that we move equipment to a completely different client organization even briefly. This was the most ridiculous recommendation I have ever heard.   I fought back for another 30 minutes until finally they gave me a 1 day extension.   In over 3 years of working with Meraki the process has always been if I could provide proof of purchase for a new license and they have not provided it they would just provide an extension, well apparently this policy has changed and they do not care if clients equipment goes offline even when us the partners did everything correct. ... With Subscription licensing coming out last September our company has fully adopted this licensing model and we have begun having some issues with the Dashboard overview. Under license status we just see a hyperlink saying, "Show Status" and License Expiration we see "View more". As an MSP with many organizations under management this is not enough info. It would be nice to see the actual status, OK, Expiring, License Required and License Expiration to show the soonest expiring subscription. Attached is a screenshot from our dashboard and again when skimming through all organizations to do renewals this is a daunting task. So we are giving up on the Apple Meraki display. Without true rtsp on Apple devices it’s just too delayed and clients are getting upset. We want to look at rolling out external rtsp decoders and all the videos I found lean towards Axis brand T8705 but that unit was discontinued middle of last year and replaced with the D1110 however the replacement can only do 8 channels not 16. What 16 channel decoders have you guys found that work great with Meraki? ... View more

Hello,   I have a client who has cameras. They want to add a Meraki display. We installed it and tried ordering the license but are being told now that we cannot do so because the new subscription licensing is not compatible with Meraki-Display. How was this missed on Subscription licensing and how is the best answer from support sorry you can't use the product we advertise because of our error and we have no eta on a fix. I have already escalated to my sales rep as well and no response there either.   Any thoughts from the community? With more and more MSP's using Meraki as their platform of choice and more and more MSP's offering some type of VoIP service in their product offering it would be amazing if Meraki would launch a line of truly open SIP phones that also phone home to the Meraki Dashboard for full management. This way even clients that have no networking equipment at all we still have full access into the phone settings should they lose registration to the SIP platform.   Just food for thought and how cool this concept would be. Hello,   Our clients love the idea of the Meraki Display on Apple TV but we have noticed that on the local lan or using apple tv offsite there is about a 15-20 second delay from when something happens to when you see it on the apple TV. We are on the newest Meraki Display app version in the app store and we have even tried going to the new 5.5 beta on the MV cameras hoping the improved RTSP in the update would help shorten the delay but that was not the case.   I don't understand why Apple TV and Iphones have such a delay when viewing from PC or browser is near real time.   Can we expect this delay to be shortened and get a similar experience as viewing from a PC any time soon? ... Hello,   We have multiple clients as an MSP with Meraki Smart Cameras and using the Meraki mobile app to view the cameras is very difficult, clunky and just an overall poor experience. Are there any plans to create a Mobile App specialized in viewing the cameras like the Vision Portal that might be more user friendly and a better focus on the end user experience or possibly improving the experience within the current mobile app?   Some of the main issues clients present to us are as follows. App constantly freezing Receiving "Failed to fetch video stream (No recording) while watching footage that is clearly recorded.
