The imitation is actually the issue of the number of clients ,supported on the Z3 compared to the MX. The Z3 is recommended for a maximum of 5 devices, including the VPN client.

Thanks yes I did see that alerts but wasn't sure if LAN counted as vpn client. Ok that is fine, I'll see if I can either do all clients or pick a regular user to save going in unless they are off. And then the API option as a potential too, thank you for your help.

It is taking a lot of troubleshooting and is not a straight forward easy to summarise situation but hopefully what I have included helps if this issue comes up again. It's come down to a support ticket with Cisco Meraki looking at the routing between two meraki devices mentions and the primary and secondary routes.

A really common case for this is when authenticating against AD, the user changes their password but doesn't change the password on their mobile.
