Thanks, yeah its definitely the Org Summary page i am looking at. I did log a case for this and they suggested that this feature may have been reverted back to the original page for everyone possibly while it is developed further. Basically just to clarify, the original post that shows the new layout with a network score next to each network has gone. Its a shame as it was very useful.

yeah just tried, the support bit on the purple site just provides an AI bot, I described my problem and it said i need to setup a purple account. very confused. i asked it to speak to someone and it said 'yeah fill in this form'..... i didn't get a form.

yeah thanks i saw that, all the "contact us" "log a ticket" "support portal" links are just dead ends. Emailed all the contacts I had and nothing either. Trying their AI chat thing again now, lets see.

Anyone know what happened to Splash Access? Have been a customer of theirs for a good few years, but cant get hold of them at all recently. no answer to emails, calls, or tickets logged on their help system. Anyone got any recommendations for other providers like these guys? I need a Secure Guest solution with rotating key updated via the API etc and splash page with basic name and email collection. Thanks

Thanks @Phi-L So I must have opted in when this started as I have seen a screen like the one in your original post with the network health scores recently. Cant remember exactly how I got there. But now my Organisation >Summary Page just gives a list of network and the traffic light status of the devices within. So basically I have the old version still. Should i log a case for this? thanks

Has this feature moved? I used to be able to get to this but just noticed it has gone. I can see Assurance per Network but not at Org Level anymore, it was very useful.

no, I am using splashaccess to sign up. It is actually a sponsored Guest portal. So the captive portal asks you for your email and the email of the person you are visiting. The person you are visiting then gets an email to approve the access. Once thats approved the end device is granted access. The way I think this works is simply based on MAC address. So lets say the Guest returns the next day to the same office, they will automatically join as the device MAC is authorised for whatever time period was approved. The bit I am not sure of is where that MAC address list is held, the APs or the Orchestrator. But either way it appears it is "Network" based only. So that Guest can only seamlessly join within the Office they originally signed up for. Thanks for you help.

No it doesn't work I'm afraid. I have 2 APs, each in their own network, and 1 template attached to both networks delivering a Guest network with a splash access sign on page. If I join 1 of the APs I get the Captive Portal and sign up successfully. Then if I move to other AP I get the Captive Portal again so have to sign up again. What I wanted was to be able to sign up in one office and move between offices without signing up each time. Thanks

Hello all. I think I know the answer to this but want to check. Lets say I create an open ssid with a click through splash page that uses a third party for registration, with the intention of using this as Guest Wi-Fi across multiple corporate offices. If a guest signs up in one office and gets connected, will they have to go through the same sign up process if they go to another office with the same SSID, but within a different "Network" within the Meraki Portal. My understanding is that once a client has signed up, the client MAC is put into an authorised state and shared among the APs within that network only. Basically I want a Guest Wi-Fi that you can sign up to in one Office, and it will work across loads of different offices within the authorised timeframe. Thanks all

Yeah I had this problem, I thought it was cosmetic but in fact is was because our email security system was testing the link in the email before sending it on. Somehow it wasn’t enough to approve the request, thankfully. I had the link whitelisted in the email system and now you get a nice “thank you approving ….” Something like that. You can test it by opening up your email domain setting in the portal to include a domain that doesn’t have such scanning, I did it with gmail and it comes through untouched.

cheers, yes tried that but the devices show up as 'unauthorised' in the meraki portal even though they have been approved by ISE and indeed do have access. Might have been a radius message problem, the access accept was definitely working, but the username and auth status was not getting back. Plus from ISE's point of view I couldn't see full details of the client either.

Hi all, I have requested a new feature in the dashboard but wanted to post it here to see if anyone else with this problem thinks this is a good idea, or if anyone has found another way to overcome this. As we know, the Sponsored Guest Feature is awesome, but lacks reporting and controls. It is not possible to view the Users Name or email address used to request access, and that leaves us with just a device name and person who approved it to look at live. We can't even see authorized Guests who are not currently joined. I know this has been kicking around for quite a while so I assume there is a good technical reason for this, i.e these are not credentials as such, and instead just used to create an account based on the mac address of the device (something like that anyway) So I was thinking it would be great if we could do this: If we can use the "Sign On With Meraki Auth" feature and turn on "allow users to create their own accounts", and then in addition add an option to allow the account to be authorised by a Sponsor chosen by the Guest at the time of login (within an email domain). So it is the same process and the current Sponsored Guest, but a Meraki Account is created in the process and used to Web Auth on. This way we can see the user and device. It would need to option to put time limits on the accounts so they can auto expire but that doesn't sound too difficult as I seem to be able to put expiry dates on manually after an account is created. Good idea or no? For anyone reading this who has the same problems, has anyone found another way to get better reporting? Maybe with a 3rd party splash page? Cheers Matt
