"47.2W for each APs." 40Watts is the Maximum for the MR57. Did you mean 47.2 Volts? https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/MR_Overview_and_Specifications/MR57_Datasheet#Specifications Judging from that Screenshot; perhaps Spanning Tree could be shutting ports??? That would make sense if configured in 'Power Sharing' mode'. As you have an Agg/Port Channel configured. Make sure it is configured correctly and matching on both the switch and MR57. See below details. https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/MR_Overview_and_Specifications/MR57_Dual_Uplink_High_Availability#Prerequisites

I had a similar-ish issue a few months back. I know the fix doesn’t make the most sense, so please bear with me. The short version is we discovered legacy SFPs on the network. As soon as we replaced them with the usual model, then it all went back to normal. The longer version is a power outage lasted longer than our backup generators could support. When it all came back online, our speeds were different - good upload speeds but poor download speeds. My full-stack Meraki setup let me reproduce the issue on various MX and MS firmware versions. Also, I mostly skipped checking the individual links, because I had identical SM fiber SFPs all around with no CRC errors (or similar). However, after extensive searching, my team located only one pair of outdated MM fiber SFPs on a single link connecting our MXs and a core switch. The issue vanished the moment we replaced it with identical SM SFPs. The reason I say this doesn’t make the most sense is two-fold. First, the problem was observed while I was directly plugged into the MX - and not a switch using the MM fiber link. Second, the problem only appeared after a power outage caused a complete power cycle of the network appliances. (I see it as a problem that was lying in wait, then appear after a reboot.)

Wow I've never actually looked at Clean and unknown. This may be helpful in a bunch of different situations. I will check it out.

Do you have Umbrella enabled ? if so you need to create VPN exclusion rules in Local internet breakout. otherwise traffic vom the NAT-Client will be send into umbrella and will be blocked. this is however only configurable in SDWAN hub-mode.

How far away are the sites from each other. Are they on different ISP's. Check a traceroute between site from public IP to Public IP. Check the MTU between the sites. what is the upload/download on each site. Is it Fiber\DSL\COAX. on the Slow side is the upload Lower then the fast side? If the path is between multiple ISP's most likely the issue. Also try with IPS\AMP disabled. For testing, what kind of device is used for testing. Try different devices on each side, and only test on hard wired.

Try adding other public IP's into Uplink Statistics under SDWAN /Traffic shaping and see if they are also showing drops.

For those of you keeping track, I reached out Sept 13th for an update and this is the reply: I've checked the investigation thread but there have not yet been any updates stating that this behavior has been resolved. I will be contacting our MX products team for confirmation of the current state of the investigation and will let you know if any of the recent firmware versions have a resolution for this behavior. Thank you for your patience, Christian Torres Network Support Engineer .ılı.ılı. Cisco Meraki
