Hi Friends, Looking for an assistance, To make the newly created vlan a separate V-LAN with priority QoS access to the internet over all other V-LANs. This is especially for Sunday morning access to upload the stream. Pls advise to proceed this. Appreciate if you provide steps / documents / material to accomplish this. Info : MX Model : MX84 Only 1 Internet service / connection available at Meraki MX ( Internet Port 2 ).

Not an idea to extend the VLANs, Its like Daisy Chain model Switch to Phone and Phone to Computer only. What mode actually preferred Access or Truck. Pls advise.

Hi Folks, Alcatel-Lucent Model 7210SAS-d that the Sonicwall is plugged into (WAN) and Sonic Wall ( X2 configured DHCP ) from the port X2 to connecting Port 1 of Meraki MS210-48FP . Pls adivse what type of mode we can use in the port config like " Access or Truck ". Currently Switch is having Native VLAN 1 & Voice VLAN 100. Rest of the ports configured as Access only just wanted to know Port 1 config mode ( Access or Trunk ).

We have ordered only 3 SW's - MS210-48FP connecting with 39 Cisco Phones.2 going to be stacking at Ground Floor & 1 SW goes to 1st Floor, Please advise the following Cabling part between Stack Switches and 3rd Switch ? Ground & First floor SW required separate WAN Link ? or we can connect WAN to Stack Switches from there we can connect to 3rd Switch?.

The reason we have two different MXes is because there are effectively two different sectors of the business that will need functionally different networks. Also, we have a 10gb circuit and Meraki doesn't make a 10gb FW, so we needed to get a little creative with how to utilize as much of the circuit as we can. So, the 'corporate' network is for a set of office spaces that the Customer's internal team will be using. This location will have the ISP demark, the edge switch, both MXes and at least one more switch. The MX250 will manage these two switches for the corp network. The MX450 will manage the 'production' network, The rest of the switching for that network will be distributed at a number of IDFs throughout the facility. We don't yet know the number of IDFs. Note : These will be two completely separate networks that are sharing the same 10gb circuit. So no HA between MX's.

Appreciate your response Sir, Since this is totally a greenfield install for a brand new company, They won't have VLANs, IP schemes, etc. We'll just need to use our best judgement to design this thing. All the equipment's are in one place ( Single Site ). I'd imagine so, SAS connected to the core switch ( Just think of it as the carrier handoff, Carrier is just providing a layer 2 last mile, with us putting our own managed carrier handoff on there ).
