Hi, There is already a vMX instance running in concentrator mode in AWS. The requirement is to have one more vMX behind this to achieve only the firewall functionality. Is this possible? Does vMX act as a NGFW in AWS. Please help with any documentation or links. Thank you.

Hi, Greetings. We are testing wireless client Radius Auth to windows NPS coupled with MFA from Microsoft Authenticator. In one of the Meraki docs, I did found that Radius timeout to be increased from default 10 seconds to 60 seconds for DUO MFA. So, I am assuming the same applies to any MFA. Since my setup has only APs, I don't see a explicit setting where this can be changed. Is there a way to change the Radius timeout, using API scripts or the Meraki TAC help required to change it in the code. Pls suggest. Thanks.

Hi All, The licenses were purchased and faced a tough challenge. All the 270 licenses expired in one day. Then the TAC engineer clarified following. Meraki Licenses are by default activated on the day of shipping. It doesn't wait for the dashboard addition or activation. That way all my licenses expired before the day I tried adding them. So basically, this idea doesn't work. One day License means, One day only. Count of it doesn't matter. Anyway, I managed my situation. But Huge warning to others.

Ghostly Greetings! Years ago, When I was an engineer handling a large university Wi-Fi, the horror happened. That was the time chrome books were launched in the market. All the students received the Chromebooks as gifts from the college. When all the students connected their chrome books to the Wi-Fi at a time, I had to confront my worst fears. The Core N/W modules went down. People were screaming all over the place. Replaced modules went down consequently. That night went with fierce battle with the Capacity/Resource optimization & QoS. Finally, we won against all odds. But, following few days, my nights were filled with horror dreams. Happy Haunting!

Hi, A requirement for certificate based Authentication for wireless clients. The environment has no radius server. Looking for a option other than systems manager. Can the MR AP locally host certificate and serve the client authentication. The environment has a MX firewall. If possible, firewall can also be used for hosting the certificates. Pls suggest a cost effective solution here.

Hi, We have a situation where we need to license MR for 3 months for a customer. As you know, we have 1-day License and next to that 1-Year License. Is it possible to purchase 90 1-Day Licenses to run the MR for 3 months. And also, Whether I need to claim all licenses at a time or I have to do so on daily basis. Pls clarify.

Hi, ISE is used for posturing. During migration from Cisco WLC to Meraki Wireless, existing setup has ACLs created in WLC. Now we are configuring similar group policies in Meraki. Using Airspace ACL attribute for deciding the ACL. Do we have to keep permit and deny as it is in WLC or need to inverse them in Meraki? Confusion is because of redirect ACLs Please clarify.
