@cmr ok...so when you are looking at the switch ports for Switch B, you will see a port identified as the "uplink" to switch A but nothing indicating which one goes to Switch C. However, when you look at the ports for Switch C, it has a port marked as an Uplink to Switch B....make sense? The Uplinks are very clearly marked, but not the downlinks. It would be nice to have that on both ends.

Yes, I do mean other Meraki devices, primarily switches. How are you connecting your switches? Are they stacked or are you trunking the ports? I don't know that stacked switches really applies to what I'm asking here, more or less when you're looking at the "switch ports" and the digital view shows you which ports are live, using PoE, uplink, etc...that perhaps they could have an identifier for the downlink to the next switch? I also think RTSP should list the port connections between each device, but that's a whole different discussion.

Has Meraki thought about adding an icon on the Downlink ports the way that they do Uplink ports? Something like a downward arrow instead of an upward arrow? Also, an alert in a red banner, same as uplink ports, when you are modifying the port. I don't see it as critical, but I think it would be a nice feature to easily identify the ports without checking each individual one.

Check in your Windows settings to see if your connection is listed as "metered" (On Windows 10, go to Settings -> Network & Internet -> and select Properties of the connected network). You may also have to "Allow VPN over metered networks" if it's a VPN configuration issue. With it failing at the same place, it sounds to me like metering is enabled.

I wasn't sure where to post this, so please forgive me if this is not the correct place. I worked for a Meraki partner back in 2017 and took the CMNA course in St Louis, Missouri. Is there any way I can still get a copy of my certificate? I reached out to the employer (whom I no longer work for) and they did not have record of it in my file. I nominate Jim Barnes. He was my first employer outside of college (long before cloud based networking was widely available, I sure don't miss those command line days lol. He taught me a lot of the basics about Cisco Switches and the AS400. He has since retired and is thoroughly enjoying that. Great man, great supervisor.

I'm not sure what you mean by mounted vertically. We are using the Meraki mount for the MV72 found here and I was under the impression that they are only designed for wall mounting? What optional mount are you referring to?

I have had several issues with MV72 and MV72x cameras in the evening, when either just a little bit of moisture (or full fledged rain storm) during dark hours (cameras are set to auto activate IR) and it completely white-washes the image. It's like the camera focus messes up or the IR is too much and reflecting off of the water droplets. I don't know if there is a setting that needs to changed or if Meraki needs to make a "weather cap" that prevents water from reaching the dome. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
