What have helped us in past is to check Blocked URL list under Security & SD-WAN settings or enter the URL under Check Content and threat categories as MX consider that link as "Finance" - If you have Finance category blocked it won't work. Additionally, when you type in a URL under Allowed URL list it needs to be the domain only meaning in your case just type in walmartrewardsmc.ca. ** It might take a min or two but should work**

We had a same issue and still having it, We have tried reaching out to MX representative and according to them it's our ISP now when we reached out to our ISP they think it's our Firewall.. It's like never ending game to be honest. I had a shell script that would continuously ping, tracert and store the results in Notepad - Maybe try doing that for a day and see if you get any timed out request?

I don't see an option to update my MX75 to 18.107.10. I can only see 3 options 18.107.2, 18.211, 18.208.01 and yes firmware update it gave me was 18.107.2 which does not make any sense to me especially when we are already using 18.208.

We do have file shares across our Network and we use it all the time plus we have HUB and SPOKE environment between 5 offices. MXs are far more capable of handling packets at least for us (since we have MX 105). Have you ran a test while transferring files what does the device utilization looks like since last time we had same problem and called tech support they insisted us disabling "AMP" and "IDP" under threat protection on HUB. In our case CPU usage was getting high and fans kept running all the time. That was my 2 cents hope this helps!

That was my next plan as I don't like restarting MXs as that is a down time for those offices. But thanks for your suggestion. I will post here if I get any resolution out of them.

I have 1 MX 10, 2 MX 64 and 3 MX 75 and we recently got an firmware updates on MX75. V#18.107.2 and soon after that mayhem started our profiles on local computers would not load even cameras stopped working. It almost felt like those MX created a wall or firewall rule not to let anything in even though I tried configuring rules to be ANY to ANY for some time. I wonder if anyone has same problem? As I ended up rolling back one version which weirdly enough is v# 18.207 ( I understand this is latest version and 18.107.2 is latest stable version). I was looking if someone has workaround except rolling back one version.

I was trying to figure out if we our MX needs protection against Akira Ransomware or not. I know for sure they are only attacking appliances without MFA but few of out vendors doesn't seem to have MFA but using MX firewall rather then typical ASA appliance. https://www.rapid7.com/blog/post/2023/08/29/under-siege-rapid7-observed-exploitation-of-cisco-asa-ssl-vpns/

Here's what we got from Meraki Support: Greetings, Thank you for contacting Cisco Meraki Technical Support. I would like to inform you that we are aware of the recent issue where a Microsoft update is being flagged as malicious by the AMP service on the MX platform. Our development team has been alerted and is currently investigating the matter. For updates on the progress of the investigation, please refer to this link: https://community.meraki.com/t5/Security-SD-WAN/MX-Malware-Blocking/m-p/191266#M44553. We have reached out to them numerous time and they didn't had any answer except they wanted us to repeat entire scenario to examine which we are not sure how to replicate as wasn't something we triggered. To add salt over the injury they took 2 weeks to respond and now after 2 weeks all the IDS Alert and information is gone because that's what default policy is.. They just left us hanging in middle LOL

Thanks for sharing information and revert me back....We are using 17.10 version which makes us not vulnerable to Anyconnect and we don't use AnyConnect we just use ClientVPN services. Also just to add we just turned ON threat protection AMP however when we search for more details seems like it came from valid source to destination. I'm attaching screenshot for reference. As you can see in the first SS it blocked everything and the next day it allowed that same request. And NO we didn't change anything as it was weekend.

We just found out that we might have been compromised, we have MX 75(3.x network) and MX 105(2.X network) on our network. So on OCT 15th MX 75 Security center reported IDS Alert and blocked the attempt however on OCT 16 MX allowed that attempt and said allowed nothing was changed so at this point not sure why MX would allow because same thing occurred on MX 105 same day and it blocked all the attempts. I have two question how to turn on that protection and does MX have anything that could help us find culprit?
