Hi, We have a Cisco Meraki network with an MX, MS120, and MR44. We're moving to a new building and need to configure our network manually. Our new ISP requires us to set up IP, gateway, and DNS directly on the MX firewall. I thought I could do this in the Meraki cloud and have it sync to the MX, but that doesn't seem to be the case. How do I access the MX to configure these settings? I've never connected directly to it. Where can I find the username and password? Thank you!

Hello I`m getting emails from the Meraki Dashboard about an issue that our Security Appliance network has detected an IP conflict with two or more devices. It happens every other week. Anything I can do to diagnose it? Thank you!

Understood. So its very straightforward. After they will claim the new devices to their Dashboard, all they would have to do is claim the devices we released i understand. How about the Dashboard itself? does it require a license as well? So in total they would require to purchase 8 licenses? one for each device, right?

Hello I`m reaching out for assistance with de-provisioning Cisco Meraki equipment. Our company is relocating from its current office, and we are considering selling the following equipment as-is to the incoming tenant: 1 Cisco Meraki MX 2 Cisco Meraki Switches 5 Cisco Meraki Access Points I would like to understand the process for de-provisioning this equipment from our Meraki dashboard. We have three office locations, but only wish to sell the equipment from one of them. Could you please provide us with a guide or instructions on how to proceed? hello I`m using Microsoft authenticator as my 2FA and intrested in moving my Cisco Meraki 2FA to be Google Authenticator. What is the best practice to remove the 2FA and re-enroll? Just to click on "Turn off two-factor authentication" and re enroll?

I understand. So First thing, I just removed the MS120 from the network i added it prior, and the License is now OK. But have yet to un-claim them all. After reading what you wrote, maybe I should just leave them as claimed, and just wait for the License numbers that the sales will send me. Then, I`ll add the licenses the dashboard, and only then I`ll add all devices to the network. what do you say?

I understand. I dont have it, I will contact the vendor I purchased it from. Should I remove the MS120 in the meanwhile? so I wont have any issues? BTW, is the order I added the devices ok? Should I first claim the device, and only then add a License key? Its always a two step? (first device, and then license?)

Hello I recently purchased a few additional Meraki device. I claimed them all to my Dashboard. But after claiming it, it seems like the MS120 is missing a license. Any idea why it happens? I claimed the devices via their Serial Numbers. (But I only added to the network the MS) The rest of MR devices are only claimed but not added to the network. I can see that I also have a limit on the MR devices.. How do I fix it? Do I need to purchase an additional device for the Dashboard? *I sent an email to Meraki Sales, but was wondering why it happened and maybe assist in resolving it. Thank you!

Hello I have a Cisco Meraki MR44 Access Point that I`m unable to find. We purchased it a few years back (2021) and it seems like its not connected to our companies network. We have four locations, and i searched all of them, and I couldn`t find it. I have the order number + serial number. Although it was claimed to the dashboard a long time ago, it seems like its not connected to any network. What are the implications if i unclaim it? Will I be able to claim it at a later time? thank you!

Hey Quick qestion. Are you sure it will automatically switch? A friend just told me the following: The Cisco Meraki MX75 will not automatically switch traffic to the secondary line when the primary ISP is disconnected. You will need to manually designate the secondary ISP as the primary in the Meraki dashboard. Meraki MX75 supports features like load balancing and failover, but these require configuration. By default, traffic flows through the primary WAN connection (200/200 Mbps in your case). Disconnecting the primary ISP simply removes the connection, it doesn't trigger a switch to the secondary.
