I would like to post a kind of feature request here. Call it "improvement of graphs". What bothers me is that some graphs are interpolated. As an example: during a nightly outage of a MG21 (unfortunately, that happens now and then) one can see network traffic in the graph (that is obviously not here). Now that is quit clear, but it may be a really disturbing thing while troubleshooting a more complicated issue. This is not only seen on MG graphs but also on other dashboard pages (switches, Accesspoints, MX's). Besides this issue, regardless the selected time interval, graphs are calculated with the same amount of data. Most Meraki network usage graphs are far from detailed (even not in a 2 hour based interval), and perhaps better said: so undetailed they are almost unusable. Graphs can be a great help to see anomalies and other issues, so I hope Meraki will improve the display of graphs to a real helpful level! For the record: I'm writing this not to be angry or so, but in an attempt to get the Meraki life better for us all. Greetings from Holland! Alexander

While troubleshooting reported issues from a device 5GHz-only client, I was zooming in to it by selecting its MAC / IP address. The device has been connected and working all the time, and that is confirmed in the dashboard. But when I switch to the tab "roaming", the timeline remains empty, no matter what period I select. And yes... I waited multiple minutes for the data to be 'served' and the device has roamed indeed (visible in timeline) Does anyone know what I can do? Or does this work on 2,4GHz enabled devices only?

I couldn't find an issue. To me, it seems like a FP indeed. After a little while of rest, the events returned again. Multiple sites, multiple devices with multiple platforms/OS's.

absolutely right, but in that way, I'll rephrase: where does Meraki portal show the clients actual datarate (in a table, not as in individual client pages). Background: we have some clients with a new laptop who had to disable WIFI-6 options at home for their laptop to be able to access the home WIFI. That raises us the the (crosscheck) questions: - does the laptop really use 802.11ax on our business networks (Meraki) - does our Meraki Wireless networks really service 802.11ax clients? or are they operating at 802.11ac?

Is it possible to see which client usues which WIFI protocol? I know Meraki does show what protocols a client is capable of, but I can't find where to see what protocol a client is actual using (802.11ac or 802.11ax)... Greetings from Holland

indeed. Very annoying. On serveral networks in our tenant various AP's stopped communicating with Meraki Cloud. Some of them do communicate again, some don't.

Hi, Recently we connected out networks to our new MX250 firewalls. We discovered that each change we make seem to cause short traffic disruptions (even without any warning)... Think about firewall rules, NAT rules and so on. Is there a possibility to choose if a change must reset all TCP sessions or not (= wait until time-out), like Cisco the ASA firewalls do? As far as I'm concerned it is a very, very annoying thing, because you cannot change or troubleshoot during business hours! In our 24/7 business it is hard to find moments where it is allowed to cause disruptions, Greetings from Holland!
