That's great to hear @TonyC , hopefully it's a easy implementation as SLAAC support, or more directly the current addition by Meraki of "ipv6 nd ra suppress all" on all SVIs, and being able to take that line off would be perfect!

Glad to know that clients at least work in the default VRF getting SLAAC addresses but shame that the vrf for IPv6 routes isn't applied properly. If you get a chance can you get a show run for an SVI in the default VRF and just let me know that router advertisements aren't disabled? Just for my own sanity 🙂

Does IPv6 work for your end clients via SLAAC @thomasthomsen ? That's the one thing that was blocked on 17.15 that I'm hoping is working in 17.18 in meraki managed mode for me.

I wish we could get a roadmap/timeline for IPv6 RA support so we can at least have SLAAC addresses at least but alas it seems at least 17.18.1 won't support it at release either 😞

I've seen this as well for a while now in the dashboard for the "new" view where it's enabled but parts of the new UI show disabled still but the settings show correctly enabled. Very annoying.

I definitely saw several "dhcp_no_dhcp_response" captures from devices as well on 32.1.2 and a few on .3 as well. Additionally I noticed I don't get IPv6 addresses on 32.1.3 now on any wireless device but when rolled back to 31.1.7.1 I get them no problem.

I just updated a couple APs to this and have now opened a support case. It appears, at least to me, that this bug is back: DHCP offer is not forwarded if broadcast flag is set (Wi-Fi 7 APs) Which was fixed from 31.1.6 until 32.1.2 is back. So for anyone who has clients which would be impacted I would avoid this one possibly. Will update with findings from support but the three clients I have which rely on DHCP offers w/ broadcast flag being set are back to having no IP addresses following the upgrade and are the only ones still offline. Edit: Just wanted to mention that the clients work fine on 32.1.2 and 31.1.7(and 31.1.7.1)

Well that's where I found something fun 🙂 Apparently the dashboard is directing me to a URL with DHCP-Servers instead of the OTHER page which has DHCPv6 and RA Guard settings. I managed to stumble upon that going between different networks. Unfortunately that didn't solve it setting to allow all RA but I did add some details to the support case to get more info so I'm hopeful

Well it's definitely supported but for some reason all IPV6 RAs are being blocked. When I check the running config via the cloud CLI it shows under each SVI: ipv6 enable ipv6 nd ra suppress all IPv6 RA Guard used to be an option in the old GUI but now it appears to be missing and I can't figure out how to get it back and I suspect that for some reason it's set to enabled but without the toggle I can't permit it which would get SLAAC working again. In the interim I've opened a support case, hopefully it's an easy fix 🙂

I just recently converted a 9300 over to Cloud Managed mode and setup dual-stack SVIs however after assigning IPv6 addresses to the SVIs I noticed that none of the clients get SLAAC addresses and I can't seem to find anything in the GUI to indicate what I might be missing or why none of the clients are picking up IPv6 addresses. If I statically configure an IPv6 address I can hit the gateway and even get out to the internet but I'm a bit confused since I figured SLAAC would be default behavior by now in 17.15.3 in cloud mode.

Same here regarding the private beta. @Jeff-L It would be nice if the "defaults to fully managed" was called out explicitly while this is rolling out. I can definitely see people getting into trouble like @JeroenVercoulen experienced if they don't know that.

Had a similar issue with a 9300LM (Not L-M) where it tried and failed to convert to Meraki mode since that SKU line isn't supported yet. I also got no prompt for Hybrid or Managed mode when adding via the dashboard either and it appears to default to managed mode so I've got a case open for that. I also have no MAC or Cloud ID now in Show Meraki on the switch and get a SUDI error when trying to register again so I need to reboot the switch to fix that as well, so that's fun. Edit: What's interesting is things worked fine in the Beta via Stomio on 17.15.2 but when I removed and upgraded to add the switch back on 17.15.3 that's where the issues started.

I'm seeing similar issues, oddly enough I can see a ton of wireless devices on non-Meraki APs but 95% of my wired devices don't show unless I drill down to the port details but when I click on the clients there it just takes me to a page saying the client wasn't found. Very odd indeed. i've got a Catalyst 9300 I'm testing with Monitored Mode on the Meraki Dashboard. I've got a couple non-Meraki APs connected and I see all the wireless clients on their respective ports but a vast majority of the wired devices never show up at all in the client list, which is odd to say the least. What's confusing me more though is when I drill down to the switch itself on the individual ports I see those missing clients listed under each port but clicking on them takes me to a "Client Not Found" page. I can see tons of traffic when running iperf between a couple wired clients on the individual port page itself but on the dashboards main page or the main switch page info page when starting to drill down it reflects nothing of the sort. I'm not really sure what's going on with this or why but I haven't reached out to support just yet as I wanted to see if there was something I could do on my side to clear this up. Part of me is wondering if this is because previously I did have a couple Meraki APs with clients connected and something is cached elsewhere but that doesn't make much sense to me. Those same clients are now commected to the non-Meraki APs and they show up though so that's what has me thinking that could possibly be something.
