Can't find the answer anywhere, i know the Cisco 9300s need the Meraki firmware installing out the box to get it managed by the Meraki dashboard but if it's the Meraki 9300X-M, does that mean it's already got the Meraki firmware or will it still need flashing out the box?     ... View more

Our licenses for our networks are running out in a few months time so just costing up for another 5 year renewal.  All of our kit is running fine, it's all happy, never had issues so thought the cheapest option was to just license again and go.  However, the quote's we're getting back from 1 of our suppliers doesn't make sense unless Meraki are penalising us for sticking with old EOL kit.   As an example, hiding the exact costs, but.   1x MX100 Advanced Security license for 5 years (license only) = £12500. 1x MX85 + Advanced Security license for 5 years (license and hardware) = £6700   Looking at the spec differences between the MX85 and the old MX100, the MX85 is better in pretty much everything.   We've got some old MX64s as well around the business, upgrading them to MX67s, which we don't need to do, and adding a 5 year advanced security license is around £35 more expensive than just a license for the MX64.     ... HI everyone, i've had a look around and googled and gone through guides and i can't seem to find the answer anywhere.   Our main site has 2 WAN connections now, a 200Mb link that most data uses, including all SDWAN traffic to the other sites that we have and VPN traffic from client VPNs coming in and also general internet and office usage.  The 2nd link is 50Mb and i set an SD-WAN policy in the "SD-WAN & Traffic Shaping" screen to put all VoIP and Video Conferencing traffic to prefer WAN2 with failing over if poor performance. Now how do i confirm that is exactly what is happening, i'd love to be able to go into Traffic Analytics for WAN appliances, click the MS Teams Video application and for it to show me which WAN interface that traffic used but i can't.  I have done a packet capture for the "internet 2" interface and all the traffic is UDP traffic of between 87 and 236 bytes, meaning it does look like VoIP traffic, but i'd ideally like a clearer picture if possible? ... Looking at upgrading our little Datacenter network and servers to 10Gb, currently have 2 Meraki switches in there that are happily running off of 1Gb but Meraki doesn't seem to do any 10Gb switches with anything close to enough 10Gb ports to meet our requirements, unless we look at the MS390 switches, we generally use the 1xx and 2xx series switches round the network.   We need at least 8x10Gb and the best option for us seems to be to add a non-Meraki switch, something like a Netgear XS708Ev2 and essentially have 2 networks with the servers prioritising the 10Gb link and then failing over to the 1Gb Meraki switches if the 10Gb link goes down but it's not ideal. ... HI everyone, got an SDWAN configured across all of our sites running Meraki kit and all running at least 18.107.2, including the site with an issue.   We have 2 MX84s, 1 configured as primary and 1 as the hot spare.  If we make a change to the DHCP settings on the MX, the connection to the internet stays up but the SDWAN will drop for about 10 seconds every time.   Anyone seen this before?     ...
