We updated several MX-100 and one vMX100.  the vMX100 (virtual) updated to 16.16 without issue and is currently still on that version with a scheduled upgrade scheduled.  The issue we had was with our physical MX100.  When upgrading to 16.16 all of our MX100's would drop out, consistently, every hour for about 10-20 minutes, consistently.  We were able to roll them back successfully.  I tried several times but eventually updated them to version 17.6 which resolved the issue.  The issue had to do with an upstream SFP connection at the DMARC.  We have been running version 17.6 without issues for several months.  We have not had any bandwidth issues on 17.6 and will upgrade to 17.8 this next week. ... It depends on your security policies but generally there is not much legitimate use for P2P in any enterprise environment.  I could not find a published specification on what traffic patterns Meraki classifies as P2P but support did say this is a complex ruleset.   It would be ideal if it could only be applied to Internet ingress/egress and not internal east-west traffic.  Short of group-policies however this is a global setting on the MX. ... Well,  I went ahead and disabled Load Balancing to see if there will be any other issues. I have the guest ssid using the backup connection. Default traffic shaping rules applied. the voice vlan has a rule of ef46 and high priority.   I got this interesting response from Net2phone support. The phones don't require any special protocols for them to work with our platform, so I don't think IGMP can cause an issue.  As for the Meraki firewall, there is no need to make any changes. Please keep in mind that our firewall guide serves to ensure the best possible experience where the phones are receiving/sending sip signaling (registration) and rtp signaling (audio). In this case, the phones are operating just fine and is receiving RTP. The main issue here is that when you have DUAL WAN scenario and your primary IP is back online while your network is utilizing the failover IP, the phones would continue to register on the failover IP while RTP traffic is signaling on the primary IP. I would recommend contacting Cisco to see if there's a way to set up the Meraki so that it can auto reboot the moment your primary IP is back online so that all the devices can reboot as well. In other words, if failover IP is in use and primary IP is offline - devices should connect using failover IP. Otherwise, if primary IP comes up online and the phones connected to the Meraki are using failover IP auto reboot firewall so that all phones can receive this change.   ... View more

I went to the customer and now it is working, I thank all the comments you gave me, there was nothing involved with the problem we had. the fix procedure we found was:   - disable all firewall and antivirus software from the windows computer. - disable/enable the wireless adapter - Connect to the network, try to cast, it works. - enable firewall/antivirus software - the cast still working - we also reboot the computer, and the cast still working.   The parameters of the configuration at Meraki are: - Separate SSID yes and dis-similar SSID have worked. - Bridge mode yes - Band Steering enabled  - Multicast to Unicast conv disabled  - MR45  - Rls 27.5.1  - 802.11ax enable      thank you all!!  ...
