Ok so what is your management VLAN on the AP switch port? Trunk port or Access Port? What is the VLAN  the SSID on?  If your APs are taggin the traffic the traffic is on the native VLAN. All of chromecast /casting and printing devices are in an isolated vlan from my wireless clients. Works great but you have to enable bonjour forwarding between the two segments. Post a simple diagram and I can walk you through what is needed but is something like this: First I would set up my switch ports as trunk ports assign a native vlan to these ports and that is the vlan your AP will pull for Merkai dashboard access. Allow vlans for the user devices SSID segment and the chromecast on the same AP trunk port Tag the SSID traffic with the vlan as appropriate Enable bonjour forwarding for the services you want on EACH VLAN.   When you first set it up it will take a couple of minutes for the discovery between the vlans,  after its there its there....     Thi ... I am growing tired of firmware with inadequate, generic, vanilla release notes....    "BUG FIXES General stability and performance improvements" The above is something that should never grace the release notes. Meraki is supposed to be making our work life balance easier, not harder. Help us all gain the promised balance and put in the effort to inform us of the "undocumented features" and oversights that have been corrected with DETAILS. These notes are where you should be bragging to us what has been discovered, reported and/or  corrected. Firmware release notes is not the place for brevity and canned responses.   ... View more

Yes it s possible to ppint to your devices in differing subnets with isolation on.or use chromcasts and apple tvs across differing subnets with isolation   Put he printer in one subnet, your clients in a differing subnet. printer can be wired or wireless and use bonjour forwarding  MUST create reciprocal rules or it will not work....     ... You haven't really told us much other than your devices disconnect  and that you dont know why the SSID was set for L3 roaming.   Definitely open a ticket with Meraki... you are paying for that service. Consider the possibility that the AP is defective.in that one area. Meraki can help you with that.   Just some observations from reading through what is above.   You have your 5 GHz channel width set to auto. Unless you are in a cornfield in Iowa, all alone, Push that channel width down to 20 MHz wide lots of DFS channels in ETSI domain.... The lower you go on channel width should make your SNR and noise floor more appealing for clients.   Check to see which freq has more issues. 2.4 or 5GHz. Personally I would get rid of the 2.4GHz all together, if you can. The 2.4GHz band is a literal minefield of garbage devices that cause far more issues and help desk tickets then its worth, IMO.   If you are doing PSK you can eliminate the  802.11r without much worry. Even in adaptive mode it can cause issues.   Intel Macs are way different then M1 based MACs  from a wireless perspective. Also, the roaming threshold for iOS and MacOS devices differ greatly. Also, depending on which version of MacOS you are running, Apple has a really tough time recycling sockets used by anything they didn't publish. i.e. third party extensions, When you run out of sockets, you will not have a good time. You can mitigate this issue  by upgrading  to latest MacOS but i would also tell your Mac users it is a really good idea to properly shut your machine off instead slamming the lid closed and dropping it in their bags. Actually shut it down in the evening and boot fresh daily will make sure the sockets are properly recycled https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202628 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT206207   . ... What is the behavior you desire?   You can easily tunnel one or all SSIDS in Org B back to the MX in Org A  the Chromecasts must be in the same VLAN as the client trying to cast.   you can enable bonjour between the differing subnets under the MX firewall.. Create a rule with the service VLAN(s) of the Chromecasts to the Client VLAN(s) for all services then create reciprocal rule.. like this:     ... View more

Ok I have read through all the posts. Quick question What type of power are you hitting the APs with? If they are getting 802.3af power they will work but become way more persnickety and your dedicated scanning radio goes away and they become quite sticky from a channel standpoint. Also, the MR 32 is only capable of running the 26 family of FW. https://documentation.meraki.com/General_Administration/Firmware_Upgrades/Product_Firmware_Version_Restrictions     https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Monitoring_and_Reporting/Low_Power_Mode     Models with a dedicated scanning radio, such as the MR18/32/34/42/52/53/84, don't generate channel_scan events. They rely on the scanning radio to get the neighbor and channel utilization report on an ongoing basis.   In comparison, models without the dedicated scanning radio, such as the MR12/16/20/24/70, scan the whole spectrum every 2 hours when there are no clients associated. When low power mode is enabled the scanning radio function becomes disabled. Thus, not only are there no channel_scan events but AutoRF channel assignment can be negatively impacted. ... View more

Start more basic....   Are you at the same location as the AP? Verify firstly that the AP has power. Then verify the status of the LED on the AP what is it doing? If the AP  does not have have Internet connectivity,  it will broadcast a survival SSID.   If a Meraki Access Point does not have a configuration from the Meraki Cloud Controller it will instead broadcast a default SSID of "Meraki-Scanning." The AP takes an address of 10.128.128.128, the SSID runs DHCP, and it will try to assign any clients that associate with it an address. This is merely to provide a connection between a client and the AP to allow for local configuration.   You can associate to this SSID and see the local status page which will tell you where the device failing. ... A 2x2:2 802.11n can only hit a maximum of 300Mbps PHY at 40MHz 5GHz PERIOD.     That's HT MCS rate 15 / VHT MCS rate 7. 802.11n uses a 20MHz or 40MHz wide channel only.    802.11n 3x3:3 can hit 450Mbps @40MHz  802.11n 4x4:4  can hit 600Mbps @40MHz    WiFi 101 / WiFi 10 Commandments  - Commandment 1. Cut through the sales BS by understanding  the MCS tables and be able to read a data sheet Commandment 2. Thou shall never, ever, ever run 2.4GHz past 20MHz wide or you will be stoned in the biblical  sense.   Anyone claiming that a 2x2:2 can hit 600Mbps  is just flat wrong an attempting to mislead you either on purpose or due to not knowing how it works. How they are getting the BS sales number is by adding the 2.4GHz @40MHz wide max PHY rate  with w/ a 40MHz wide 5GHz  max PHY of 300Mbps.      In practicality it is super easy to hit this PHY rate, the problem is people too often think that is the throughput. IT IS NOT. This is the maximum theoretical  speed the device transmits and receives  the data over the air when it gets to "talk or "listen" to  a client. You throughput will be substantially lower than that. A good median speed for 2x2:2 802.11n on 40MHz wide 5GHz is between 240 to 300Mbps divided by 2, because wireless is half-duplex.   For 20MHz wide N on 2.4GHz  it is between 115 and 144Mbps, again divided by 2. If you are connecting using any modulation below QAM64 you have other issues in your environment that you must correct and/or account for.  If you aren't getting these PHY rates at QAM64 you have to look for the interfering devices on the airwaves... something is wrong. If you are getting PHY RATES using  QAM64 and it still sucks.... check your cabling and interconnects. Also, make sure you don't have any rate limiting GP's applied. Note A GP will not change your MCS but it can limit your throughput.     ... View more

Ok, it sounds like you are wanting to configure your AP for a 3rd party RADIUS provider. I have never heard of C4W but should be the same.   There are two spots to that you have to do this:   Wireless-->Configure--> Access control this is where you establish your RADIUS credentials /Walled Garden etc. on a per SSID basis. If you have done thi properly you will see an OK for your RADIUS server        2. Wireless-->Configure-->Splash Page. Again, set on a per SSID basis.   ... View more
