I should have done this intro a while back but the current POINTS CONTEST seems like a good time to do this. I recently changed jobs from 10 years as the network manager at a senior living company with 86 locations across five western states running Meraki's full stack, to Cisco/Meraki solution sales. I'm hoping to meet fun and knowledgeable people here in the community. I was a Sun Microsystems pre-sales SE, Northrup Grumman NTS, Data General Senior FE, are other places I have worked. Fun Fact: I got my pilots license when I lived in Alaska and flew my PA-22 from Juneau to the Bay Area when I moved to California.

If you find there are gaps in coverage you may want to fill in with a couple of MR74s in mesh mode using the 5Ghz antenna to mesh with a gateway and serve clients with the 2.4.

Yes. 3rd Part VPN tunnels are supported and I have used them many times. Its not feature rich, but it works. https://documentation.meraki.com/MX/Site-to-site_VPN/Configuring_Site-to-site_VPN_between_MX_Appliances_in_Different_Organizations

jsurles, If the MX67 is currently online using WAN1 , why not access the local status page through the WAN1 public IP to set WAN 2 ? You will need to check Network-wide>>General>>Device configuration to enable local status page access and set a password. Also may need to check Security>>>Firewall>>> Security appliance services and verify allowed remote IPs. Then access the MX from its public IP on WAN1.

You could analyze the heck out of it or you could put two original SFPs back in on a switch that seems to be trowing errors the most consistently and see if the errors go away. I've never had a problem with Cisco or Meraki branded SFPs but I have had issues with some 3rd party brands. The biggest gotcha is to be sure you have the same part# SFPs on both ends.

The security radio allows the AP to continuously scan for rogue SSIDs. Without it the AP would have to drop clients in order to scan OR only scan whenever no clients are present. The Bluetooth BLE radio adds the ability to do advanced analytics and Beacon advertising. I'm actually not surprised your Buffalo HP-54G lasted this long, those things were amazing it its day!

Go to Security>>Addressing and VLANs>> select use vlans check box then add your subnets. below that is the per port vlan settings for the MX and for switches, assign subnets to individual ports
