Huh. Weird. I see it in both the full badge list and in my profile page. Maybe that's why it think I only have 6 badges?

Hah! That's the big question isn't it! Unfortunately, in my testing the answer is No. The cellular failover rules seem to apply to the egress direction of the WAN interface, meaning by the time all traffic hits the rules it's already IPsec encrypted and you can no longer distinguish what it is. You can filter Internet bound traffic, but not traffic inside a IPsec tunnel. 😞

Oh, sorry @FrancisDorta, I'm not reading your question properly. No, you are limited to L3/4 rules only for cellular failover. There's on option to do L7 rules.

There's two ways. You can rate limit the cellular in the Security > Traffic shaping page And you can write ACLs to restrict traffic on the cellular link under Security appliance > Firewall

Weird... I would have thought maybe four hours, not two. Oh well, glad it's back! https://documentation.meraki.com/zGeneral_Administration/Cross-Platform_Content/Behavior_during_Connection_Loss_to_Cisco_Meraki_Cloud#MX

We haven't deployed too many of the MX250's yet, usually opting for the MX450 when we get near 1Gbps Internet services. That said, I have a case open right now involving an MX250 where I'm concerned about its capacity and resources... But we have yet to prove what the cause of the problem is. It's been online and running for over a month now so from that side it looks stable.

Hi @francktls, The dashboard tells you it's going to lose its static config as soon as you hit the remove device link. It's right there in red lettering. After the move you can restore it via the local status page, or if there's DHCP on that link you can get it online with the dynamic, then set the static via the dashboard provided you are on newer firmware.

No, sorry, I meant what type of dashboard network is it? MX? MR? Combined? And what version of code are the devices in the network running?

Licenses are not tied to devices, they are tied to Organizations. As long as you have enough licenses in an org to cover all of the devices in that org you are fine. You can't use an MX64 license on an MX100.... But as long as you have 5 MX64 licenses and 5 MX64 appliances you are good.

Nope, a spare would not require a license. You only need licenses for what's active in the dashboard at any given moment in time.

Run Chrome in Kiosk Mode. http://www.coolheadtech.com/blog/chrome-kiosk-mode-introduction **Edit** Oh wait... That's not going to help. You'll need to hit the full screen button in the Dashboard. Sorry, I'm not thinking right. You could use a web driver to do that though... Something like Selenium https://www.seleniumhq.org/projects/webdriver/

Just a thought, not sure how practical it is, but if you were able to leverage SAML then you can pseudo-auto-login to the dashboard. We have SAML and for me to log in all I have to do is point my browser at our SAML login URL and I'm redirected to the Dashboard, all logged in. No entering credentials required. It'd be easy enough to have your machine open the SAML URL first, and then switch pages to the camera wall (using the deep link).

Meraki doesn't currently have support for the exact topology you're trying to build, They offer a slightly different version, details found here: https://documentation.meraki.com/MX-Z/Site-to-site_VPN/Configuring_Site-to-site_VPN_over_MPLS I suspect one day soon this may change...

Hi @YBerllan, By device details screen do you mean the Client details screen? If so you can apply a blocked policy there, like so: If that's not the screen you're referring to can you be a bit more specific?

I don't think there's any easy way to do this. To control Internet traffic you have to use the Internet Flow Preferences, but those are limited to the old src/dst IP/port fields. You can't use L7 application classification there 😞 It certainly would be nice if Meraki would add L7 classification to this feature...

Is this new? I don't recall seeing this before... It seems to be a running total in real time that starts once you navigate to the Firewall page and not and all time total, but this is a nice add for troubleshooting for sure! This MX is on 14.27, but I also see it on an MX with 14.19.
