Hi, just want to know, it can combine the new access point to existing dashboard, i mean now we already have 3 access point on 1 dashboard, next month we want to buy another access point, but this is on different location. It can be combine the new access point to the existing dashboard or should separate account to manage new access point (create new). If it can be combine it will affect to license we have? our goal is just to make simple manage all access point in one dashboard even there is on different location. Hi, interest with this using MR46, we will have plan to implementation MR46 at small office about 7x7 m, and will try using this device, as your experience its better place on ceil or on wall to get better performance (throughput) and also how tall you install this device. Thank you

Hi, I still confusing how to antenna selection for meraki access point. We will plan install access point at our compound with lot of trees (open area) and also building. I have read some article on meraki sites and interest will using MR76 (majority) and MR46 for indoor (some office). Confusing on anttena selection for MR76, the question is it correct if i choose 1 set using antenna MA-ANT-25 (purpose for focusing signal on open area) and 1 set using omni MA-ANT-20 (pupose for focusing signal near access point i installed, because limited signal coverage for omni antenna). for MA-ANT-20 and MA-ANT-25 it can install to MR76 on any port or it should installed on spesific port. Hi, Thank you for link and suggestion, all our device still workign normal until now and need for extenc license maybe until 2027 (plan to buy 5Y license), the question if the device broken and need replacement let say on January 2027 our old device will be replace with the new one (MR46) without additional charge? or should buy the new model and key license still can use on this new device. Hi, we are using 3 meraki's access point MR52HW, on offcial website this product already end of sales and our license will expired sood and need for extend the lincese. The question is if i extend this license until next 3 years again but somehow our device have a problem (broken, malfunction), and need replacement, we should buy new meraki with new model and use previous broken license? or waiting for replacement with the same model? What scope for license on meraki? it's only dashboard/device management via cloud and with replacement device too? or dashboard/device manage cloud only and we should buy anoother license for warranty hardware? Hi, I same like your tought, our gateway only listen to meraki IP instead client ip address, this first time i receive log like this, ussually other log that i was receive it came from client ip address/ our own vlan that create for internal ( not meraki dhcp). Thank you

Hi, Thank for your reply, we have 3 vlan 1 vlan for manage device include this meraki access point (192.168.10.6) and other vlan as internal network and also 1 network using meraki nat. as you said yes...1 network for guest using meraki nat dhcp. i tought like that too may be user on meraki nat dhcp cause this, i mean our gateway listen to meraki dhcp not user ip (meraki dhcp) Thanks

Hi, I have a strange log from my gateway (using other brand) that saying on the log like this from srcip (192.168.10.6) that source from my MR52. my question is it possible virus came from merak access point? IP addess that we configure on access point is dhcp and already reserve for this access point. anyone have experience like this? Appreciate. Thanks

Hi, It happen to me too but on other device brand, after autmatically firmware upgrade laptop and mobile device suddenly cant connect it still happen after device restart. So i try to take back the firmware before automatically upgrade and device back to normal again. I dont know if meraki can do downgrade firmware? Thank you

Is there using the same SSID name for all access point? i wondering throughput on 1 AP consume for 1 device (maybe that device downloading something) that make other device connect to that AP not receive enough throughput. Thank you

The problem happened to me to it happened with device using 2,4Ghz device, when i saw on dashboard most of client coonect/receive signal with 2,4Ghz a little device connect.receive using 5Ghz. I think 2,4Ghz already saturated even maybe on one of user still on download progress on there, i thnk that make high latency.

Hi, The first challenge my task was on internet provider with WLAN technology to connected site to site, that was 15 years ago before meraki famous like today. in that yeas we use variuos access point brand like vastvan, mikrotik, fullbond, waverider, motorolla canopy and other brand. The challenge was connected main office to branch office with distance about 20km line of sight. I was climb tower with 20meters high on my main office and other team climb tower about 25-30meter. Really excited when got "reply from x.x.x.x" and really sad got "request time out". Finally after adjust antenna for more than half day main office and branch office connected with low latency ping and better throughput bandwidth, so that can deliver high bandwidth with smooth ping. After this project finish we continue with playing "counter strike" game. 😀 to got relax. Thank you
