Hey AlexG - I hope you are doing great! What USB modem are you using ? I am curious about the overall experience with the USB fail over you described.    Check out the Skyus SC line - this should remove some of your challenges you have been facing    https://www.inseego.com/iot-modems/   ... For anyone wondering - ended up RMA'ing the MX60W for a new MX64W. Once it plugged up to my switch and connected to the cloud everything in the dashboard was green and no more  "Bad internet connection" issues. Seems to have been failed hardware or something along those lines. ... View more

We had this happen to us yesterday. I had to unplug the primary circuit to fail-over. The primary circuit was up with lots of lost packets and high latency. Having the ability to control internet fail-over would be a nice feature to have. ... View more

@PhilipDAth has the right idea, in my opinion. We had to bulk create 250ish networks some months back, and I used a fairly simple PowerShell script to hit the API and update the VLANs after the networks were created. I used a script to create the networks and add them to our templates as well but that's not always necessary. Powerful stuff once you get the hang of it! ... View more

'Connecting' is a pretty common thing we see with our MiFi 620 modems. For us, it generally means the signal strength to the carrier is sub-par, or simply not available. We've tried external antennae, but the RF loss is too great and it simply doesn't work. If it's possible to try a different modem with a different carrier, that may be your best bet. ... View more

Forgot to add the follow-up on this one. Oddly enough, when I switched the link type on the Palo over to broadcast from p2p prior to the MX upgrade, every single route dropped out of the table on the Palo. Once I finished upgrading the MX, the routes were learned again and popped into the active routing table. Could just be a bug within the Palo software, but it was interesting nonetheless. ... The Meraki documentation (kindly linked by AlexG) states the following:   Note: Call volume is limited to 5 calls per second (per organization)   Does anyone know how an API key assoicated with an MSP level user (that being a user that has access to multiple Orgs) is rate limited? Is the rate limiting done at API Key level, or is the rate limiting smarter than that and gives you 5 calls per second per org you're quiering with the shared API Key? ie at: GET https://api.meraki.com/api/v0/organizations/ <org_id>/...   ... I would recommend to changing over to using WPA-2 Enterprise mode, where every user gets their own password.   You can link it into Active Directory, so their AD credentials are used.  Note there is quite a bit of work and if you have never done it before it might be a bit challenging. https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Encryption_and_Authentication/Configuring_RADIUS_Authentication_with_WPA2-Enterprise   If you have a Google Apps account you can also authenticate against that: https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Encryption_and_Authentication/Configuring_WPA2-Enterprise_with_Google_Auth   Perhaps the easiest option is to enable WPA2-Enteprise mode, and use local Meraki accounts for authentication. https://documentation.meraki.com/MR/Encryption_and_Authentication/Meraki_Cloud_Hosted_Authentication     Lastly, if you really want to use a PSK, consider getting Systems Manager.  This allows you to use the WiFi settings, including the password, to machines without having to contact everyone.  Of course, they do need to be able to connect to the Internet once to get their profile update after you change the password. https://documentation.meraki.com/SM/Profiles_and_Settings/Configuration_Settings#WiFi ...
